Lovely place for a date or dinner with a few friends. The atmosphere is reminiscent of a 50’s lounge; decor is well-done yet cozy, and the food is superb! Pictured are the Not So Stormy cocktail (which was alright), the Mussels (the large amount was shocking but the dressing was impeccable!), Spiked Shrimp Cocktail (loved the smoky flavor), Margherita pizza with Mushrooms added, and the Chocolate Flourless cake (which was surprisingly light and fluffy, just melts in your mouth!). My compliments to ghe new chef! I can’t wait to go back and try more menu items!

The name is a bit misleading. We were expecting a romantic Italian bar. When we came there was a cover band playing and the locals rocking it and dancing. We did have a nice fun evening, just know what to expect.
Also good to know that the pizza oven closes at 21:00 and then you can only get the night menu from the neighboring tavern.

We rented Notte for the night – hosting college swim parents while we watched our daughters compete at their conference championships at Middlebury ! The downstairs (from Two Brothers) pizza oven and bar venue was perfect for our needs. The food was excellent, but the space was even better – allowing us to mingle and enjoy. We worked with the owner in advance of our evening in Middlebury, choosing a variety of awesome pizzas (buffet style) with each better than the next ! The staff was great to work with and we really had a wonderful night !

Nice remodel of the old lounge. Good ambiance. Shared a meat and cheese platter along with a cheese pizza with friends over the course of trivia night. Good selection of cheeses and the crust on the pizza was excellent. As always a decent array of craft beer and I hear that the cocktails are very good but I cannot attest to that, at least not as of yet. Good to see fun Italian food in Middlebury.

We appreciated the vegan and vegetarian options. The service was courteous and prompt and not overbearing. Decent beer selection. Nice wine selection. Our burgers were better than average.

My family and I just had an absolutely wonderful meal tonight at Notte! My wife really enjoyed the penne carbonara. I sucked down the gumbo while my daughters enjoyed PEI mussels and pepperoni pizza. Everyone was a member of the clean plate club! The service was great. Our server was right on top of all our needs including our children’s needs as well. If you are looking for a great place to eat with good service and great food, stop by Notte! We will be back!

From Montreal to Burlington, this pizza is honestly the best I’ve had in all Vermont/Quebec. Pleasantly surprised when we ordered at The Two Brothers Tavern, and will def be making special pizza dates in the future because I will be craving this pizza.

Hit and miss menu, overly pretentious. I enjoyed the sausage pizza. Unfortunately they are doing flatbread pizza like normal pizza, flatbread shouldnt have a crust every inch should be covered with toppings and if the crust tasts like bland crackers you are doing it wrong. They had all the wrong specials and events up, update. The service was lackluster.

I wasn’t sure if I could make it in as steps/stairs are challenging for me; however, when the staff heard of my dilemma, they came out to help me down the back steps!
