This definitely a ghosts kitchen. Got to the location and it was a Caribbean restaurant. There were two ladies working and had to have a customer waiting for their food to help me communicate with the staff. The restaurant isn’t busy at all. But was able to get the ginger turmeric and chicken soup. I got home and that took like 25mins. When I finally got home the soup was still super hot and taste great. It was a nice pick me up when feeling under the weather.

I ordered the tomato soup and it tasted odd. I’m not sure but it tasted different. Explaining this isn’t easy but it was not a good taste. I’ve had tomato soup three times in the past two weeks and that includes Panera bread two days ago. It was neither creamy nor flavorful. The garlic bread was soft and seemed like it wasn’t cooked. The soup did arrive hot but I can honestly say I was not impressed and I wouldn’t order from here again. Delivered on time and everything to do with service was great just didn’t like the soup or garlic bread.

I ordered 4 bowls of soup online and also paid ahead. Got the email confirmation as well as the time for picking up. When I got to the restaurant, the guy said they didn’t get any orders. When I showed him the email and the payment, he said the chef already left and if I wanted to wait (for however long it takes) the chef could come and make the soups for me!? I informed him that I couldn’t wait and asked if I can get a refund since I already paid online. He said he still has to wait for the chef to come to resolve the refund. He told me to go home and wait for the refund and jokingly said “it’s just soup” then laughed. 5 days later, I still got charged for $75 from my bank account (it’s not pending. It’s finalized). So I guess they didn’t issue my refund.

Recently had the Cajun Chicken Cream Soup from here and it was surprisingly delicious! The soup was loaded with spices. It was heavily spiced to perfection but not overly spiced. I was pleasantly surprised at how perfectly seasoned it was. And it was spicy! I love heat so it was great for me. If you don’t like spicy food don’t get this soup. The heat level was good and was harmonous with the other herbs. It wasn’t a independent heat that just hit you for no reason. It was a balanced heat and added to the other flavors. It was perfect really. Just enough to clear your sinues but not so critical you couldn’t eat the soup piping hot. And it was piping hot but still immediately edible! The chicken itself did not add to the soup. I’d recommend smaller chunks, thinner chucks, or a different cut. The broth and the veggies were easily the best part of this soup. It tasted like everything had been marinated together for years (except the chicken). The chicken itself was bland and hard to eat in harmony with the other ingredients. The veggies were cut perfectly and not mushy. They had a perfect tender bite. No real atmosphere here, because you just grab and go. Also, the garlic bread did not disappoint! This garlic bread was perfectly cooked and seasoned as well. I like lots of garlic so there was room for more of that but it honestly was more garlicky than anywhere else I’ve had. It also wasn’t overly oily. Honestly, the presentation of the bread looked like an after thought at first sight, until I bit it! I didn’t even eat it with the soup. It was delicious all on its own . Quite literally the food was the most perfectly balanced – flavor and seasoning wise – I’ve had in a while from any restaurant. The cook knows his way around a spice cabinet! I’d return and I highly recommend this place. It’s a winner. If they allow substitutions, one can easily omit the chicken and enjoy a lovely vegetarian soup or hearty, fast-breaking meal.
