Great job Not ur Mammas! I’ve been anticipating this day for over 6 months now. After driving 4 hours from West Palm Beach I was starving and the only thing that came to my mind was the oxtail and rice that a client’s neighbor of mine Bragg so much about. He was not messing around he was telling the truth! The food is amazing amazing like very amazing! I gave him a reminder who I was and that I was just was coming across the state and was thinking about making some ribs for the super bowl but again after driving so much I really didn’t have any minute to cook so I told the same story to his daughter as I was leaving and she brought me out a few ribs that were ManMan!,Man! Now I can’t wait to pass through again and get a whole meal of ribs! Again good job guys! Great job raising your family and being kind models of society and raised the youngins the right way too! Awesome display of teamwork! God bless not your mama’s kitchen!

This shii is the bomb! We ordered an oxtail plate first which came with oxtail and yellow rice in gravy, mac n cheese, yams, and corn bread. Portions were very generous and fed 2 people. It was so good I sent my husband to get a second plate! The second plate we ordered was ribs, mac n cheese, green beans, and corn bread. These people know what they’re doing with their seasonings and their meats!!! Food was DELICIOUS, staff were very kind, we ordered and had our food within 10 minutes. 10/10 would highly recommend this hidden gem!!!

Picked up 2 plates for an early dinner. We got the fried chicken wings, mac n cheese, green beans, yellow rice, turkey wing, collard greens and corn bread. Everything was great but the corn bread was EXCELLENT! Seeing all of these reviews and different options, we will definitely be back to try everything! Service 10/10!

One word for this place – “TENDERNISM”
The price is very reasonable for the amount of food you get, you can feed at least 2 people from one plate. Everything was good and the oxtails were falling off the bone.

Oxtail was well seasoned and tender, greens were clean and tender, but not overcooked, mac and cheese was nice and cheesy, cornbread is smooth, rice was right on. Found a new place to fulfill my soul food fix. Good job.

I attended a church convention in Hawthorne over the past week and wanted some soul food. I Googled Soul Food restaurants near me and came across Not Your Mammy’s. I had the baked turkey wings and cabbage… the food was excellent and well worth the 26 mile drive! Angela and her daughter were very pleasant and even threw in a free desert and lemonade for my travels. I will definitely return on my next visit to the area.
