Matt, Travis, and their team at Not Your Average Joe’s are absolutely amazing! I planned a last-minute staff dinner for my preschool teachers, and they delivered nothing short of 5-star service. From start to finish, everything was seamless—the food came out quickly, was filling, and absolutely delicious.
If you’re planning a staff outing, group dinner, or special event, I highly recommend reaching out to Matt and Travis. They’ll make sure you and your team are taken care of and leave feeling appreciated.
Quick disclaimer we consolidated the food onto plates so excuse the presentation that’s all on me ❤️❤️

I was told that this place food was mediocre so I didn’t have high expectations when I went. But I was surprised by the food quality and friendly staff. Everything was perfect. I surely will come back.

I always like delicious and healthy food, and I had a satisfying meal at Not Your Average Joe’s tonight. The “New England Lobster Roll” I ordered had rich lobster meat, and they also allowed me to replace the French fries with spinach. The bowl of clam chowder was also very delicious. The starter that my partner ordered, Crispy Bang Bang Shrimp, was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside (unlike some restaurants that fry the whole shrimp too dry and taste bad). All in all, we were very satisfied with the food tonight and highly recommend it.

This restaurant was honestly pretty MEDIOCRE and OVERPRICED. I don’t usually leave negative reviews, and I actually feel bad writing this, because our waiter DJ was really friendly and helpful.
For drinks, we ordered a pomegranate drink and a strawberry lime drink. The presentation was nice, but for something labeled a SPECIALTY, the flavor just wasn’t there. The complimentary focaccia bread and garlic cheese oil at the start was actually PRETTY GOOD.
I ordered the BBQ pulled pork-style mac and cheese, and it was a disappointment. The cheese sauce was WATERY and BLAND, nothing like the “four cheese” it claimed to be. My family also tried the May Special seafood pasta, which one of the servers said was the “best”. It cost a staggering $32 and tasted just OKAY. It was mostly basic spaghetti with barely any seafood.
Most of the food was just FINE, but not memorable, and overall lacked flavor.
One thing that really bothered us was the fact that there were THREE FLIES flying around our food and table the ENTIRE TIME. My brother managed to swat one, but the others kept crawling around. It honestly made us uncomfortable.
I was hoping dessert would save the experience, but unfortunately, it made it worse. The key lime pie looked PRE-MADE, like it was just cut from a box and dropped on a plate with some strawberry sauce. The crust was FROZEN, and the pie was WAY TOO SWEET. The chocolate mousse cake actually tasted decent, but it was lazily piped into a plastic cup.
Overall, I’d say TAKE YOUR MONEY SOMEWHERE ELSE

Okay so I just have to comment that, in spite of their restaurant not currently having heat in below freezing weather, the gentlemen at this establishment were still so nice and welcoming and the food was still on point, as were the drinks! They fully warned us before seating us that there wasn’t any heat and we were kind of in a hurry so we said screw it, it’ll be fine. And it was! It was actually kind of a funny little experience because everyone there, including the staff, was all dressed up in their winter gear. It was like a little Arctic dining experience!

Tonight hubby and I had a great dinner at Not Your Average Joe’s. Our meal started with the house bread, which was accompanied by a yummy garlic and olive oil topping. For our main courses, hubby ordered the chicken pot pie off the specials menu, whereas I ordered the steak tips but asked to swap broccoli for spinach. Our food was delicious! The steak was cooked perfectly (medium well) and the mashed potatoes and broccoli were great additions! Hubby’s pot pie was fantastic on a cold night! Between the flaky crust and the generous amount of peas and carrots, it hit the spot. For dessert, we spit the peanut butter thing, which is literally the name of it. It was also yummy and highly recommended by our server. Speaking of our server, his name is Dante and he was very friendly and attentive. He even gave us extra bread to take home! Our only complaint is that the restaurant was very cold. Yes, it’s winter, but the heat could have been turned up more. When will we be back, you ask. Hopefully soon!

Went there for dinner around 6:40 pm on 7/14/24. The food and service were average. The price does not match the quantity of food they serve. Chef Bryan’s Jambalaya tasted like tomato sauce with a few pieces of chicken, tiny slices of sausage, and 2 shrimp mixed in for show but with no flavor.
Really disappointed and will not be going there again

The food took forever to be served. We had to return the pizza and fries because they were soggy. Not that the place was super busy. It had snowed, so they were barely any customers in the restaurant.
The ladies’ bathroom was a catastrophe. I had to talk to someone to send someone to clean it. To me, restrooms or bathrooms are a big priority and should be kept clean. The food was greasy and simply ok. Nothing impressive.
