Not your average airport bar. Well it kinda is, but the bar has a good range ofvpridict. The food is really good, and one of the better clam chowdahs in Boston! Fun place to chat with fellow travellers.

Stopped by for lunch before an outgoing flight. While looking at the menu, we had a great conversation with Nicole. Janine was our waitress and she was great. I had the burger with sweet potato fries that were so good and hot out of the fryer. My cousin got a salad with like 5 modifications, but they did it and she said it was really good.

Overall, this was a highly disappointing, dining experience. Service was horrendous., and the food was lacking.
My server was incredibly slow at all aspects when it came to drink orders, and taking my food order. I was a solo diner as I was traveling by myself, and noticed she spent more time chatting up the tables with larger groups, obviously working harder for a large tip. A food runner brought me my food and then I needed a drink refill and condiments and it took her quite a while. This restaurant is at an airport so you would think a sense of urgency isn’t expected trait when they hire servers but it doesn’t seem to be the case at this location.
I ordered a cheeseburger that didn’t come with any sauce and had to wait a while for ketchup. They were out of regular fries, something I don’t think any restaurant I’ve eaten at ever, has managed to do.
When I was ready for my bill, I had to flag her down. Tell her I needed my check, in which they have you pay on a handheld machine she then said “OK no problem” then proceeded to bust the table across from me and talk to the patrons(a group of 5, who were there after me, and have a lively conversation with them) and then go to the table next to me Stowe while I’m waiting for my check so I can get on my flight.
It took me over an hour (73minutes) to order, to receive a subpar cheeseburger without any flavor and eat fast and have to patient wait for my check and finally get out and leave… If you’re in a hurry, this is not the place for you.

I came in for something small to eat and a drink at the bar. When I ordered my drink a few sips in I noticed there was a BUG in my drink!!! The server was Tony an Asian man, I told him about the bug he didn’t seem like he cared much and said oh sorry and served me a new drink. I got my Greek salad. The lettuce was not cut up at all.!!!!! I had to cut it up like a steak!!! Then what got me was when I was paying my bill once I added my tip he grabbed the machine quickly and said okay I got it thanks. At first I didn’t think nothing of it till I noticed he removed the tip I gave him and added more tip without my permission. It was too late to go back and confront them because I had boarded my flight. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! Check your drinks and check your accounts if you decide to eat and drink there! I will never go there again.

Food wasn’t bad. But the service, cleanliness, and overall atmosphere were all terrible. There was garbage all over the floor, in full view of the customers. If this is what they’re fine with showing to customers, I can’t even imagine how disgusting the kitchen is. The service is slow and rude. The sign at the front says “please wait to be seated”, yet the staff ignores the multiple people waiting for a table. It took us 15 mins of waiting to get sat, and the restaurant was close to empty. The staff cared more about folding silverware and gossiping than checking on their tables. Multiple people (including myself) had to chase down waitstaff to get their checks.

Ouch. If you’re looking to be left alone at the airport and just sit at a table, this place is for you. If you want a refill or even the check, good luck. The food is subpar and the wait staff seems checked out. The hostess and one waitress seemed to be the only people who cared what was going on.
The food – I tried the cheesesteak egg rolls and the Cuban. The meat in the egg rolls seemed like ground beef, not steak of any sort, and didn’t appear to have any cheese at all. Kind of flavorless and under-salted. The Cuban wasn’t traditional; it was a stack of fried prosciutto on top of pulled pork. Also underseasoned. How do you underseason prosciutto? The only decent thing were the fries that came on the side. It may go without saying that the prices are not inline with what you’re getting.
The staff. Here’s the best way to explain the situation – there was a slightly older gentleman who worked there and he was chatting up almost the entirety of the front of house for over 40 minutes. He was still chatting when I left. I looked over several times trying to spot my waitress, but she kind of appeared and disappeared at random. When she was around, she never made eye contact with me. He was an engaging conversationalist but seemed in no hurry to get any work done.
I should have checked the reviews before wandering in. It did serve the purpose of killing time before my flight. But I would have gotten more enjoyment if I bought rolls of quarters for the same amount and just tossed them to folks for an hour.

First time here. We came on a Saturday afternoon, and it wasn’t busy at all. We were seated quickly, but that’s about it for quickness . Our server took our order and then disappeared for over ten minutes before bringing our drinks, and again , would vanish afterward. It took over 1.5 hours from start to finish. Even when I asked another server for our ticket, and she went to inform him, he still continued to clean up and empty tables for another ten minutes (again it wasn’t busy). Definitely wouldn’t recommend.

Not Your Average Joe’s is about what you’d expect from a chain restaurant located in an airport. We recently had a chance to stop by the location at Boston Logan on the way home from an overseas vacation. The restaurant is clean, the service was slow but acceptable. The place was pretty busy as it was lunch time. Wide variety on the menu. Being in Boston, we had to try the clam chowder, it was pretty good. We also ordered the Crispy Southwest Chicken Salad (fried chicken fingers) and the Waldorf Salad (grilled chicken). The grilled chicken was dry, but edible. The fried chicken fingers were much better. Both salads were HUGE! If you find yourself at Boston Logan, and need a decent meal before or between flights, try Not Your Average Joe’s, it’s OK for airport fare.

Food and service was poor. Some employees just standing behind the front desk on their phones and was ignored on multiple occasions. Food was bad especially for the price. The portions were small and the fries taste like reheated frozen fries. Spend your money somewhere else.

For your average airport restaurant, this place isn’t bad, however the service is insanely slow. It took 15 for someone to come just to seat us and then maybe 20 minutes after we ordered to get our food. Now in the grand scheme of things, that’s not a lot of time, but when you are at the airport about to catch a flight, fast service is important. Sometimes all you have is 30 minutes before your flight.
What saves this place is that the food is good, otherwise I would rate this place lower.
I would eat there again, just not if I’m really hungry and can’t wait that long or if I don’t have much time to catch my flight.
