A bit on the higher end for cost but I believe it is worth it! Food was excellent and so was the staff! Out of the way but worth the trip. Had the Not a Philly and my friend had the Meatloaf sammiches. Came with potato salad, cowboy beans and “cowboy caviar”. Very filling, you should not leave hungry!

Where do you start. This place has all 5 star reviews for a reason. We drove 2 hours one way for our Anniversary Breakfast. It did not disappoint. Just amazing food, fresh ingredients, great service! If you have never been it is a bucket list place!

Update, I’ve now had lunch and breakfast here.
The stand is located in a beautiful area; there are a couple tables on the porch and some picnic tables in the grassy area looking over a valley.
I had “Kristen’s Kickin Chicken” sandwich and a chocolate malt shake.
The chicken was good and crispy, and the sauce really did have a nice spicy kick. I enjoyed all the sides-my favorite was the homemade pickle spear. I like that they focus on flavor and don’t load their food with salt.
Their chocolate malt shake is simply made with ice cream and malt- it was perfect.
I came back on a weekend for breakfast. The blueberry French toast rolls are absolutely wonderful, and I don’t know what they do to their bacon, but it’s the best bacon I’ve had at a restaurant.
Everyone there is friendly and helpful.

I ate here a couple weeks ago with my husband for the first time and from beginning to end it was amazing. From the different names of the dishes, staff friendliness wonderful food to the overall atmosphere was a great experience. My husband goes back for lunch when he gets close during work deliveries and I get jealous. Lol. Also played a few games of Corn hole in their play area. Felt like a great mini vacation.

This place is located up in the hills near Tonasket. It’s a beautiful setting. We had brisket sandwich and cowboy oysters which is brisket and macaroni fried in dough balls. The food is top notch. It’s worth the price and very friendly crew.

We traveled over the mountains and through the woods lol ( from Tunk Mountain ) to come and enjoy this awesome food and service with a smile. We even enjoyed the little store with a story about the bear. We will definitely be back soon.

After two years of seeing Not Doug’s on social media I finally got out that way. 4 adults on a nice drive to a place we’ve heard about for years. All of us had something different and all of us gave it 10/10! Next level, delicious, huge portions, super friendly staff. It’s worth the drive for this Canadian couple! We all can’t wait to go back!! Why didn’t I buy pickles to take home!! Yes the pickle was the best pickle I’ve ever had lol.

I won’t ruin your 5 star rating because you deserve it for being in the middle of nowhere with super high quality food. I’m not sure if I’m just spoiled with good food because of where I live or if my expectations were way too high due to the 100% 5 star reviews but here is my take:
Brisket sandwich was very good. The nunya sauce is beyond. I forgot to ask if I could buy some to go. We do have a bbq joint at home where the brisket can’t be beat though. So incredibly smokey.
The potato salad was ALMOST perfect. I’d suggest experimenting with some of the following: dill, salt, pepper, seasoning salt, garlic and onion powder, paprika. Or if you have that in there it needs way more. Potatoes need quite a bit of salt to taste good. Also more mayo – it was a touch dry.
The beans were GREAT! Never had baked beans like that.
I’d suggest wind barriers for wimpy tourists like ourselves. The wind made the meal far less enjoyable than it had to be.
Service was great! Very friendly and accommodating. We got the knuckle sammich to share and they thought ahead, asking if they could split it. Just a nice little touch.
It’s expensive but so is everything up here. For the sandwich, a milkshake and a coffee it was around $40. We’re cheap so we shared and it was plenty of food with the sides. We weren’t stuffed to the gills.
I am way too spoiled for coffee where I’m from so the mocha was ok. A little too sweet for my taste. Should have asked for an extra shot or two
Thanks for the fun experience!
