Officially closed for the season! We will be back in May! Home of Amazing Nachos, street tacos and spicy Margaritas! Family owned and operated. We pride ourselves on great service and great food. Hope to see you soon! The bar is located in separate building across the courtyard from the grille. You can order drinks and food in the bar but only food and the grille.

Yes. Please. Love the communal patio with other businesses. Pricey but expected for Grand Lake. That being said, it’s a good portion for the price. Got the chicken street tacos that came with a very generous portion of chicken. Tostadas were piled high. The street corn dip wasn’t worth the price and the crema (or whatever base sauce) seemed to take away from any flavor. Overall, as a local, I would come back and recommend to friends.

Saw the name of this joint on Google Maps, and just knew, with a name like that, we just had to stop! Did not disappoint. The nachos were the star of the show. Homemade chips were crisp and weren’t over-salted as many are. They were, in a word, PERFECT. The toppings were generous, fresh and flavorful. One of the best nacho plates I’ve ever enjoyed. Leftovers reheated the next day still rated a solid “B” grade. Take that Taco Bell!!

Ordered on July 4th. Long wait is to be expected. It had been about 40 minutes and I noticed a few people getting their food that had ordered after me. So I regrettably asked if my order was close and mentioned it had been 45 minutes at this point. WRONG thing to do. Got yelled at in front of the restaurant. Honestly embarrassing. I tried to walk it back and thank her and that I understand but it didn’t matter. Sadly, won’t be returning. I’ve worked food service and I understand when you’re in the weeds getting asked if an order is ready can be frustrating. But man, if you can’t treat customers with some decency maybe just stay home or switch jobs. I did. People save all year to come vacation here on the 4th, just be aware this may not be the most positive experience. Bummer.

The portions were big, prices reasonable, and the food was delicious!

Love, love, love! This is the restaurant Grand Lake has been waiting for – efficient & quick, experienced & knowledgeable staff, delicious food & drinks. Perfect spot before a show at Rocky Mtn Rep, to watch a game one of their TVs, or anytime. Favorites so far: Not-Cho Nachos, Southwest Chicken Salad, & the Tinga Chicken – so good!

The drinks and atmosphere were awesome! The food was great too! One of the cool features here is the bar top is one of the old bowling lanes repurposed. When visiting Grand Lake, you definitely need to stop by and grab a drink or two.

My family stopped in for lunch on the 4th. While we expected it to be busy, the wait time for our food was around 40 minutes—which would have been understandable if the restaurant had been packed, but it actually wasn’t too crowded. What stood out to us was that we received our food before the family in front of us, despite having a larger group and ordering after them.
The husband of that family went to kindly check on their order, likely noticing the same. What followed was some of the worst customer service I’ve witnessed. He respectfully asked how much longer their food would take, and the staff member seemed unaware of their order altogether. Instead of acknowledging the mix-up or apologizing, she raised her voice and publicly berated him in front of the entire restaurant. Despite being treated unfairly, he remained calm and composed.
The incident left a sour taste in our mouths and ruined the overall experience. No one from the staff made an effort to apologize or make things right with that family, even as they stayed for a while afterward due to the rain.
The food itself was decent, but customer service matters—and in this case, it was severely lacking. As someone who worked in food service for years, I understand how stressful it can get, but treating guests with basic respect should never be compromised. Sadly, we won’t be returning. There are plenty of places in the area where you can enjoy good nachos without being exposed to such disappointing service.

Ya! We we’re happy to see not-cho mama’s grille open this weekend. I had the pork tacos plate AND a most delicious margarita called Cadillac margarita .. best in Grand Lake I’ve had yet! The service was friendly and helpful. Generous portions too!

Absolutely delicious food and the portions are huge and prices very reasonable. Chicken tinga is my favourite and can be added to any dish. House margaritas are also delicious and very refreshing on a hot sunny afternoon. Highly recommend eating and drinking at this venue. Awesome outdoor patio area too!
