Frango was fine, if a little dry. However, am deducting two stars for very tough and chewy pasteis de nata. Pasteis should be very flaky, with crispy layers in the tart.

Although I live in California, I come to NJ annually visit family every Easter. When I’m here I try to find some time to sneak a drive to the bake to get some baked goods. I was lucky this year and had a chance to stop by. They have some pretty good Portuguese baked goods here. I picked out a few things to try and wasn’t disappointed. As you can see below I got some egg tarts, a tart that I believe she said was like a custard tart, a slice of chocolate cake, a slice of napolean, and 3 meat pies, I know one was chicken and one was beef I believe. I honestly don’t remember
The egg tarts were really good!! The other tart that I’ll just call a “custard” tart was also very good. I honestly couldn’t choose a favorite between the two. The slice of chocolate cake was way too heavy and sickeningly sweet. I had mistakenly thought it was a chocolate mousse cake. But that’s probably my fault since i couldn’t see very well. Regardless I ordered it anyway because I was curious. The chocolate napolean was very good! I believe they also carry a white version but I don’t remember. Next time i’ll take a picture. The meat pies were ok but a bit on the dry side.
The only reason I didn’t rate 5 stars is because they have no tags with names or prices on any of the items in the display cases. I had to ask the girl working there what each item was. However the young girl that helped was very pleasant and didn’t mind me asking so many questions. Will definitely stop by here again the next time I visit NJ.
If they read reviews and are looking to make improvements, that would be my first recommendation. Please label your items!!

The pastries have always been great. Just like back home. I like these better than the same ones from Newark NJ

Great little bakery/restaurant. I usually just stop in for a coffee but today my girlfriend ordered a cappuccino, ham and cheese sandwich, and a pastry. The coffee is always fantastic and the food was just as excellent! A great spot for a quick bite and the best place for espresso in the area.

Hey guys, listen to what I’m saying.
There is no need for anyone to look anywhere else. This is definitely the spot. Excellent food, nice place and beautiful people. If you order a full tray of food, trust me, you won’t be disappointed . I usually take empanadas to my coworkers in NYC, and they love them. Thanks to Nossa Aldelia Bakery. And by the way, they make some amazing pastries.
Thanks Danny Rodriguez

I went there for the first time for dessert for New Years Eve and I am beyond embarrassed at how disgusting the dessert is from your establishment. I brought them to a friends house and I am so upset. The cannolis were limp and tasted like dishwater. The tiramisu tasted like it had been sitting there for weeks. Absolutely would not recommend this place!!
