Nosh is one of my most favorite restaurants in Winona, MN! Winona needed a good quality forage, farm to table place like this!

Giving 4 stars for the seafood paella that never leaves the menu. As you can see in the photo, it was just gorgeous, and tasted as such. Everything else was just as expensive, and “meh.” We sat inside and it was extremely loud – I’d recommend the patio if you can in the summer.

Nosh Scratch Kitchen in Winona MN is an upscale restaurant with innovative dishes and outstanding flavor. The halibut with red pepper romesco sauce and polenta blew me away with the portion, texture, and insanely well done flavors. The crab cakes with a side of kimchi was a surprising treat. Crab cakes I’ve had for $14 (for two small ones) have been disappointing- not at Nosh! Great crisp texture, creamy well cleaned crab, tasty aioli and mild kimchi. My husband had the ribs, they may have been held too long as he said they were too dry and a bit tough. The servers were wonderful and very patient. I liked the dark ambiance with the river town memorabilia and dark wood/dark blue paint. I recommend this spot to anyone, they clearly have good management and outstanding chefs!

This is the best restaurant in all of Winona!! Get the mushrooms, clam chowder and any of the main courses! Definitely save room for dessert. Drinks are amazing! The smoke on the water is incredible! Stayed in town an extra day to go here twice.

I would give 10 stars if I could. Everything is impeccable here from the drinks to the staff to the food. Follow their Facebook page to see the specials they’re offering. The chef is so passionate about what he does and it’s reflected in the menu he creates.

We had the Seafood Paella, which was good but not oversized or plentiful on the seafood. It had more rice then anything else. In saying we’d order it again. We had a Foraged Watercress & Pouched Egg Salad which was very minimal for the price. It had good presentation to it and had a good taste to it…we probably wouldn’t get that salad again for the price factor and portion size. We also had The Noshburger which was Really tasty!! Just know it comes with only about 10 small potatoes wedges with it. We would definitely get this again, we really liked it a lot! Also it was so sweet that they treated my husband to a complimentary special Birthday treat at the end of the meal which really surprised him and made his night. Thank You Nosh for making it a really nice birthday night out for him, we appreciated it a lot!

I have not had as many opportunities to frequent here as I would like but, the handful of times I have: I thoroughly enjoyed my time. The cocktails are top notch and the food equally delightful. Truly a highlight of the food scene in Winona and the surrounding area.

Tasty, fresh food. Friendly staff. Beautiful place. My first visit to Winona. Walked to the restaurant from my B&B, but they do share the parking lot with the bank across the street. I had risotto with seared scallops and my husband had the paella. Each serving size was filling and not too big. Perfect dinner out, in the dining room. Their art collection is wonderful too. Cocktails! 🙂
