Went for the first time after wanting to try it for years! You can tell it’s a good place when every time someone walks in the staff knew them by name. Food was great (what I got), spouse said the French toast could use more flavor but the chocolate chip waffle was awesome. Loved it, will deff go again.

Friendly neighborhood spot. Here for breakfast, French toast, eggs… hot coffee. Closed on Monday, open 6am to 2pm other days. Lunch after 11am. Endless cup of coffee! Cash only. ATM nearby bank across the street.

Not quite up to snuff as diners go, but not horrible either. Chocolate chip pancakes were stellar. Ham was so dry it was nearly impossible to cut, and was quite difficult to chew. Potatoes were dry, no oil, no seasoning, undetectable salt or pepper. Eggs were a bit undercooked for over medium (runny yolks), but again, not terrible. Grilled english muffin was great. The dry potatoes were fixable with a sip of coffee, and some salt and pepper. They had a nice char. Nothing could save that ham though, it was so dry it made for a fibrous chewing experience (not very pleasant).
The last thing I ate before we left was the chocolate chip pancake, and I left satisfied because it was that good. If the pancakes weren’t as good as they were, this diner would’ve gotten 1 star.
I might go back…but probably not.
In their defense, they had a full house and this was my first time there, so maybe it was just an off meal. It happens.
Still though, I’m not rushing to go back. There are other places i trust more. Staff was very friendly though, and how busy the place was did suggest my meal not might not have been a a fair representation of their typical plate. Overall, I’m entirely neutral on this place.

It has been many years since I was here last, and this place hasn’t changed much. It is very much a diner with freshly made breakfast to order and counter service that feeds your nostalgic desires. My father worked here when he was a teenager almost 60 years ago, and I remember dining with him here as a young kid. It was very cool to see the current owners are still feeding the community in a most pleasant way. Friendly service, and great portions of wonderful food.

2 eggs sunny side up, rye toast dry, extra well done home fries & sausage…all were cooked to perfection…the diner is like going into someone’s home…great service, good atmosphere, & excellent food!…I always forget to take pics before I eat so you get pics of the leftovers…(portions are a good size)

We love Town Square Diner! The food is always excellent and the service is great. All of the employees are courteous and prompt. We go there as often as we can because we love the food! Keep in mind, they are cash only.

Friends and I are on a “diner tour.” Town Square’s décor is not as eclectic as some we’ve tried but the food was good and plentiful and the waitstaff friendly and attentive. We ordered off the menu but want to go back to try some of the daily specials. We enjoyed the experience and having parking next door was a plus!

My first time at this diner. The veggie omelette was very tasty and the home fries were great. Coffee was good and hot…freshly brewed. The waitress was pleasant.
The only downside is that it accepts cash only. I was not made aware of that, until it came time to pay. I’d to go to the ATM across the road and as a result, incurred extra fees to withdraw cash, for it was not my usual bank.
The waitress pointed to a cash only sign behind the counter, and stated it was printed on the menu also.
I saw neither sign, as I was seated promptly and my order was taken quickly.
Wouldn’t it be far better to print a big and clear cash only sign on the entrance door, and not wait for a customer to find the sign on the board behind the counter amongst other signs, or to sit at a table and maybe discover it on the menu, and then have to get up and leave if one doesn’t have cash?
Other cash establishments that I know of, have a big sign on the entrance door. I hope going forward, this diner considers this suggestion.
