Searched for brewpubs during our travels along Hwy 10 and found Northwoods. It took us a bit of effort to find the place, as there was a lot of road construction and detours in town. But we’re glad we made the effort. We were looking for a bit of refreshment in the early afternoon – an IPA for the hubs, a hard seltzer for me, and a shared plate of Smokehouse Smothered Tots. Everything was clean, fresh, and tasty! Thanks.

We come here occasionally because it’s a bit of a drive but we always enjoy it. We did not eat today, but the food has always been great! They have pinball, darts, pool and some other games. We tried many beers. The are very good representations of the styles with good flavor, although connoisseurs may think they’re a bit light.

Had a fantastic lunch at Northwoods Brewpub! Hubs & I couldn’t decide between the brisket sandwich, bacon Mac & cheese burger, and pulled pork sandwich…so we got all three! BEST DECISION EVER! They were all soooo good! The manager was super nice as well and we found the pub very kid friendly!

We sure enjoyed the live music on Friday evening. We had a nice porter beer and a mixed drink. The atmosphere was nice, and comfortable seating. All orders are placed at the bar for drinks and food. We ordered a pizza. It was okay but next time we would order something else. The crust texted was thin, reminded us of a graham cracker texture. The pizza sauce was very sweet.
Great place to meet up with friends.

Awesome! The beer and root beer is great. We had the brisket sandwich, burnt ends, and Wednesday chicken wing special. The food was hot and fresh. Very tasty barbecue. Service was great! Carrie was perfect. Atmosphere is really neat. Repurposed building rich with history. Very clean and nice.

Such a charming, gem of a spot with gorgeous patio. Lots of seating, bag toss and umbrellas. We were passing through on a long drive and this was such a great pit stop so we could grab a bite and our kids could run around

Delicious food, and great casual atmosphere. Service was very friendly too. Outdoor seating is really nice! The burnt tips are amazing, as well as the Mac and cheese burger! Food was hot and delicious! We will be back when we’re in the area.

Food was great, selection of on tap brews were great, wasnt overly packed but was still busy. Food seems kind of expensive, but the portions and quality are worth it.

Unique, historic & spacious building houses this micro brew and eatery. Was suprised and slightly disappointed to learn that the restaurant does not have wait staff. You order your food at the bar, pay for it at the bar and then take a number. Kitchen staff bring your food to your table. End of service. Menu is pricey for the small serving size you get in return for your hard earned dollar. Food presentation and quality was not all that i expected, nor was it close to what use to be served at the Northwoods Eau Claire locale. Pizza was just ok. Heavy on the crust and sauce, light on the toppings. The french dip was tasty, but was small in proportion. The home made fries were blah tasting and soggy. Chicken sandwich was also tasty, but the associasted homemade fries were also bland and soggy. Side salad brought to table was also soggy and wilted. We returned the salad and a fresh, crisp salad was returned. Makes me wonder what they were thinking bringing out such a nasty salad in the first place, considering they had fresh salad on hand. Cheese curds were phenominal, just darn expensive for the proportion received. Now let’s get onto the beer. One thing that Northwoods does not disappoint in, is their local, in-house beer options and their large and in charge bloody marys. Come for the beer and drinks but eat elsewhere would be my recommendation.
