Oh my. The prime rib and eggs is the absolute BEST. They took a dinner sized portion of the best prime rib I’ve had in ages and added their homemade bread and scrambled eggs to the plate. I took half of the prime rib home (and it was delicious reheated). Busy restaurant, so get there early. Well coordinated and fast service. The prime rib was easily with $30 with no sides. At $21.95, it was a steal.

Food was great. Staff and service was spot on. Friendly atmosphere. They’re homemade bread is outstanding. Many varieties of bread you can buy by the loaf and they will slice it for you. I purchased the Dutch apple and jalapeño cheddar onion bread. Great for sandwiches.

Some of the better tasting diner food I’ve had. Polite service. Had to wait a bit for the food but they were pretty busy so that makes sense. Bonus points for the haunted painting hanging in the ladies bathroom.

Have passed this hole in the wall in Northwood for years and always said maybe someday. Well that someday did and now we kick ourselves for not stopping sooner. First time in is always 2 over medium (if the cook nails it usually the rest is good) – Nailed it. Add to that 2 huge, hot, fresh sausage links, real shredded hash browns and when asked what kind of toast we were told for a lil extra we could have their fresh homemade bread. We both choose Cheddar jalapeno and glad we did. The waitress was delightful. Will certainly return to try the biscuits and gravy next. BTW the pancakes are huge and look delicious.
