We really enjoyed our time! The place was very clean. They do quite a bit of takeout business. Bob was great. He gave us a history of the business. They make a lot of their product in house ie. ranch, pizza dough etc. He was a pleasure to talk with. The pizza was really good and the cheese bread was one of a kind. We will definitely come back to see Bob and his wife and to get more cheese bread. We highly recommend!

Incredible pizza place that I found while visiting Higgins Lake! 100% recommend! The garden salad and the classic breadsticks were delicious! Our pizzas were some of the best we have ever had, specifically the cupping pepperoni was the best my husband has ever had (and he doesn’t even like pepperoni)! Lastly, the cannolis were chef’s kiss to end the meal! We will be back! Thank you Northwinds!

I came here on the recommendation of a friend, and I’m glad I did. The pizza and breadsticks are incredible! I prefer this to anything I can get in town, for sure! Service was quick and kind. There’s even a nice little area for dining in.

Last two times we have been here the pizza has been very very thin and definitely not worth the money. We tried it again today and were disappointed again. We paid 35$ for this.

First time here and got the meat lovers pizza and herb bread with beer cheese. Order took about 20 minutes to be ready which is good for a Friday night. The pizza was excellent. Generous amount of toppings and the crust was just right, not too thick or doughy. The herb bread was good, however the beer cheese was not. The beer cheese was very watery, almost like a soup. There wasn’t much flavor either. I was expecting a thick cheese sauce to be able to dip the bread and pizza crust into. Because of how watery the sauce was, it didn’t stick to the bread or crust.

It’s been a while since I’ve been to Northwinds. I went there when they first opened and wasn’t impressed. I’m not sure if they got new owners now but the pizza is delicious! You can tell the toppings are fresh and the pizza sauce is homemade. Will definitely plan to visit again!

Absolutely delicious pizza and the owners were really friendly too. We had some cheesy bread, a calzone and one of the specialty pizzas. Can’t wait to enjoy this pizza again.

Five stars is not even enough for how delicious the food is here! I am up in Roscommon working and have been here twice and have been so happy each time! The owners are absolutely fabulous! Such sweet kind hearted people. If you’re ever this way do yourself a favor and stop in! You will not be disappointed!!

Spent the day skiing down the road and found Northwinds Pizza. So glad we did! Excellent cheesy breadsticks and Supreme pizza. Warm and friendly service. We will be back soon!

Ordered a small deep dish/Detroit style pizza and was very impressed. It’s a bit heavy but taste is very comparable to Loui’s in Hazel Park. Crunchy sides, excellent cheese and sauce. I’ll be back soon for another one!!
