I had a bug sealed in my drink, which happens I’m sure especially in the summer time. my disappointment occurred when I came in the next visit and told the barista about it and showed the picture, she apologized, thank you for that. Am I in the wrong to expect compensation? It wasn’t offered and I think it is not the best business practice.

Man this place is busy, and for good reason!! The drinks, especially the bubble teas are exceptional! I love a Taro tea with their fresh made tapioca. So yummy! And you HAVE to try their breakfast burritos! So yummy and with a vegetarian friendly option. Very good. Highly impressed with the baristas, tentative and fast! Awesome place.

Although this place has many different options that make them look like they’re a cool coffee stand, that’s really all they have going for them. They’re just good at advertisement. I have been here numerous times and every time I regret spending my money here. I see their weekly or seasonal specials and they always look so good but when you go there if you don’t specifically say you want the SPECIAL you aren’t going to get it, it happens every single time I go there. I wanted their apple cider lotus, which is their seasonal special and that’s not what I got. So I asked is that the special, it didn’t look anything like the Apple cider lotus that was only on their seasonal menu. She acted like she had no idea what I was talking about and she goes ohh the apple cider lotus special, yes that’s what I asked for, she said well I didn’t know that’s what you asked for. I’ve never been to a coffee stand where you ask for a menu item on their special menu and didn’t get the special because you didn’t specify say the word SPECIAL. I am writing this review because this has happened sooo many times. I didn’t even drink what she had given me. I said how is this not the special when the apple cider lotus on your seasonal menu. Happens every single time. If you’re going there to just get a regular drink they’re okay but not great. Go to worthy coffee or rusty kettle. You don’t have to specify the word special to get a drink that is literally only on their seasonal or weekly special menu. They know exactly what you’re talking about they don’t look at you like you’re stupid.

Honestly the strangest experience here. I asked the barista general questions about the teas (e.g. the difference between the bubble fizz drinks and other teas) and she just seemed bothered answering those questions. Which really should have been my sign to just leave.
But anyways I ordered my drink and after paying I realized it comes with the popping bubbles (which I find disgusting), so I asked if I could change those to regular ones. Mind you the drink hasn’t be started yet, and the girl tells me no because the cards already been ran so she can’t charge me for the boba. However, as you can clearly see on the picture the bobas are the same price. I explained to the barista that I don’t want extra or anything I just want to switch them and they’re the same price.
She lets me know that those are the ones they come with and to switch them would be an additional charge.
Now i would love for the owner to somehow justify charging extra to change the type of bobas, when they are quite literally the same price on the menu…. I’ve tried to think of justifications for it and you really can’t. So I guess it’s just greed for 70 cents???? I don’t know.. times are real tough out here….
So anyways I just had to drink from the top of the cup to try to avoid those nasty popping bobas. Was it good?? Not really, just kind of like soda mixed with a lot of syrup.

I took my 9 year old to go get boba tea as a suprise. She loves boba tea and was so excited when we pulled in to order.
Pros
1. Variety of boba tea drinks available.
2. Fun drinks- this month was an amazing pink milkshake type drink called ‘Carnival Ride’. The picture showed sprinkles, red licorice, cotton candy, whipped cream and a little cupcake adorning the top of this drink.
3. Wide variety of food options. My daughter got a raspberry stuffed bagel. She said it was very delicious.
4. Friendly Barista. Our Barista promptly took our order, made a little bit of small talk and we were on our way within 5 minutes.
5. Fast service. From the time our Barista took our order to the time we got our order was within 5 minutes.
6. Asthetically pleasing decor. The menu was easy to read, the building is beautiful, chalk artwork of boba tea inside the coffee stand and beautiful photo of the boba in a circle.
Cons
1. 2nd drive thru lane confusing. There’s a waiting lane and when the 2nd line pulls forward, one car from the lane can pull around.
2. QR code doesn’t work to look at their menu. While waiting, I scanned the QR code to look at the menu. It wouldn’t load the menu.
3. Out of boba items. My daughter wanted to try apple jelly boba and they were out in jelly boba and popping boba. Just means we have to go back again and see if they are restocked! 😉
4. Price. I spent about $17.50 for a stuffed bagel, medium boba tea and 16 oz iced mocha.
I recommend visiting Northwest Grind x Bubbleology! It’s a fun treat, especially for kids. The food and drinks were very tasty!

I’m not impressed with this location. I have a drink that I normally get and 2 or 3 times now they have gotten my order wrong. I specifically ask for a drink with oat milk and no coffee as both of these items upset my stomach yet I keep getting drinks with regular milk and coffee in them. It ends up hurting my stomach throughout the day. I won’t be back to this location. The girls that work at this location need to stop distracting each other and make the drink orders corrctly.

I really tried to like this place, it looks so fun! My first trip it felt like I was a bother for even pulling up the barista seemed to want to be doing anything but make me a drink. I ignored that bc everyone has a bad day and was craving a boba so I took a trip today.. the barista (different than the first) was super sweet and even chatted it up HOWEVER I was literally TWO sips into my drink and sucked through a big enough chunk of something to ruin my drink. It looks like a piece of a sponge maybe I’m really not sure, it’s plastic and gunked up. Gross! Never again.

The reviews about the wait are true, they get a lot of business during the early morning hours and around 5pm. Personally, I love coming here despite the wait due to the drinks always tasting refreshing such as their bubble fizz drinks and their red bull spritzers. Not to mention their lattes and cappuccinos, despite how busy they are, never have tasted burnt. The lattes served here have nice nutty notes. The servers here are very kind and can make you various custom drinks.
