I’ve been to the location near clarendon & I liked that one. So, since I was in the area (this location is super walkable from the Kaiser Permanente), I got brunch & coffee after my doctor appointment.
This location is much bigger. I love the vibe. It reminds me of San Diego, CA—a cross between La Jolla & North Park, for sure.
Lots of seating, both indoors & outdoors.
Recommend for the food & the vibe.

I found myself at Northside Social Falls Church on New Year’s Day morning. It’s a beautiful café with delicate pastries, delicious sandwiches and revitalizing coffee. Though frustrated by the lacking clues of my crossword puzzle, I felt invigorated by the hum of generations of families enjoying each other’s presence, and the warming sunlight beaming through the frosted windows.

TASTE (8/10): I only tried the carrot cake and coffee, but both were good. Nothing mind-blowing, just nicely done. The rest of the menu looked decent too.

Just a great coffee shop in all ways. Great coffee and one of my favorite places to take a break and hang out for a bit. I always get the chicken salad croissant and fries or the chicken pot pie because they are delicious so I haven’t tried the other foods offered. Can get crowded and noisy but there is good outdoor seating, also a wine bar upstairs.

I often leave feeling like I’ve had to do too much myself. The setup is largely self-service, and for the price point, the system doesn’t feel very customer-focused. While the food is fresh and flavorful, the overall experience can be disappointing due to the unusual service arrangement. The wine pours also seem quite small, especially considering the cost.

Great pastries and coffee. I got their cinnamon bun warmed up which was great. The cheddar chive scone was very good too as well as their coffee cake. They use counter culture coffee beans. There’s a lot of seating inside and outdoors. Parking is street parking.

The coffee shop has many seats, and we prefer 2nd floor for a quieter atmosphere. The first floor can be kind of noisy. The chicken posole soup, avocado toast, and cheddar/monkey scones are all pretty good. The service is pretty quick, and the staff is usually pretty helpful.

I go here often. Aubrey is always super friendly and tries to make Joey smile, which is reason enough to make sure you tip her well! While Joey could spare a smile or two, his barber clearly is top notch and Joey makes up for his lack of smile with his apparent gym discipline.

The iced latte here tasted excellent, a bit pricey but the medium gets you 4 shots of espresso so worth it. Beans are more on the fruity side and were really good. However taking away a star due to using single use plastics only for dine in too.
