the Northside diner cuts and breads their tenderloins in house. there’s a good thickness left on the pork and a nice pork to breading ratio. the breaded tenderloin was a bit salty and unfortunately a bit fishy, I’m guessing from sharing the fryer with the fish sandwich. the grilled tenderloin has a nice thickness with good flavor. could have used a bit of seasoning and the fat turned off the ends. it looks like they make their own onion rings, light and crispy, with a good thick onion, but very oily also a bit fishy. the french fries were the frozen crinkle-cut variety. crisp on the outside and potatoey on the inside. unfortunately they’re still using styrofoam, need something that’s not made from petroleum and is compostable.

Northside use to be Korner Kitchen, but now has a new owner & thus a new name. I wanted to give it a try, so we had breakfast here Sunday morning & shared some good conversations with some of their regulars. I just had eggs over easy, toast, & bacon. My eggs were perfect! No, runny uncooked whites, but plenty of creamy, runny yellow to dip my toast into. I didn’t order my bacon any certain way, I usually order it crispy. It came crispy around the edges with some softer-style middle. I have to say it was very good. My husband ordered the large breakfast receiving everything I did, plus hashbrowns & a small plate of Biscuits & Gravy. His was also made to perfection! They do need wait-staff help & have a sign asking for Apps, but our waitress did a fantastic job. Even with being the only waitress there, she managed to wait & converse with all of us.
With all the rain they are having a little roof issue in the entryway, but they’ll be getting it sorted.

Its back to the Korner kitchen now.and it’s great . ladies that work there are great .. food was great also very great environment with other guests..oh and every Tuesday is senior day from 4pm to 10 I believe and half price on all meals but steaks..we will be back every Tuesday .it. Cost me and my wife $12.00 for the both of us for are dinner.i had a club sandwich with fries and a coke..my wife had there own hand breaded chicken tenders and huge plate with fries..

The table was dirty I cleaned it with my alcohol wipe & then we had to move to another table my husband wanted to & I cleaned that table with another wipes it was also dirty Tables salt & pepper shakers should be cleaned every time a each a customer leaves the restaurant. I do look forward to eating there again one of my favorites is Chicken Stir Fry made with spaghetti instead of rice.

Portions, value, and relatively timely. Just keep looking at your phone tho, you might get an eye infection looking around the place. The place has gotten better, and we’ve never had any serious food issues. We will continue to support the local market

Drove all the way from Elkhart Indiana to get a pork tenderloin and it wasn’t even all what it was cracked up to be wasn’t even cooked to be the right in the first place the potatoes were rotten everything was just not right very unpleased
