I wish I could come here everyday for the chowder fries. Every time I come to visit family, I request we come to Northport Pier so I can have them.

Beautiful spot, amazing food and dog friendly! We stumbled on Northport while looking for a dog friendly patio and I’m so glad we did! Hands down THE best restaurant, location, ambiance I have EVER been! So dog friendly, and a nice big deck, so we didn’t feel like we were on top of people with our big dog. Watched the boats, people fishing on the wharf, the herons, and then went for a nice walk along the boardwalk.

it’s definitely one of the highlights of the place! Whether you’re sitting by the window or on the patio, the scenery adds something special to the meal. The atmosphere is relaxing, perfect for a casual outing or even a special occasion. I would definitely recommend it if you’re looking for good food with a beautiful view.

We had a very nice dining experience at Northport Pier Restaurant. We ordered the Wine & Garlic Mussels for an appetitizer. It was delicious!
For an entreé my wife had the Beer Battered Haddock and I had the Pan Fried (in butter) Haddock. We both gave our dishes two thumbs up.
We arrived at 4:00 p.m. and thankful we got there early. This place fills up quickly. We were told that without reservations we would not have been able to get a table after 6:00 p.m. So, beaware, if you want to go here for dinner after 6:00 I would strongly suggest getting reservations.
Plently of parking, but it is a bit of a walk from the parking lot.
All in all very nice dining experience.

Great vibe and amazing views, very kid friendly. We enjoyed taking a walk along the water after we had our lunch. The food was good/average, the kids had fish and chips, I had a chicken sandwich and my husband had the lobster Reuben.

Came for supper, around 7:30pm. Nice views of Alberton Harbour. It’s a nice place, but this is high tourist season and it was quite busy- I waited about 10 minutes to get acknowledged at the entry. I was served water but waited another 10 or 15 minutes for a waiter to take my order. There was a large party that he was serving as well. For the number of customers, it was understaffed.
I had a fried oyster sandwich which was hot and tasty, along with lemon rice which was also good. The waiter didn’t return to check if all was ok, nor to bring me the bill- so I had to go up to the register and ask to pay. I’ll come again, hopefully when less hectic.
Better service would get 4 stars.
