Extraordinary service and food! A menu with just the right number or choices. And everything is so elegant it’s a treat for the eye, too. Today I got a lunch entre. It came with salad, an egg roll, and rice. I also got hot jasmine tea and a dessert. After the tip, everything came to about $30, far less than I was expecting. Solo or in groups, Northlake Thai is a wonderful time.

Great place for Thai and a meal. The chicken & shiitake mushroom soup was phenomenal. The pad tie with shrimp was just as tasty. The salad and spring roll, same thing. The food and service was excellent. The host, Allan was more than accommodating, kind, professional and all around a great host! I will return. Give them a try! Sorry. I should’ve got more images but I was enjoying the meal and visit.

I am a sucker for authentic Asians and Thai food and my girlfriend took me here last weekend and we got to sample a lot of dishes starting out with the curry puffs and coconut soup was an amazing start and full of flavor after that I had gotten the lamb chops with pad Thai and she got another curry soup and the Chilean sea bass. The lab chops were cooked to perfection with the meat just melting in your mouth and the pad Thai paired nicely on the side giving me that flavor I have been missing since I was a kid. The Chilean sea bass was cooked perfectly and my girlfriend who doesn’t usually eat fish devoured it. The curry was amazing as well with the perfect sweet to spice ratio I high recommend paying this place a visit.

Treated us well for a last minute Valentine’s Day dinner. Too much to choose from on the menu! We tried two specials: The curry laksa was a good level of heat and exactly what we wanted. The prawns in galangal sauce was really impressive. Great environment and very kind staff.

I’ve eaten here for the past 20+ years! It’s a wonderful hole in the wall with delicious food and a wonderful ambience! Truly a 5 star vibe, and the food is always perfect. When I was a child we would come here every year for my birthday, and now as an adult I still come here with my mom.
They have a complimentary appetizer of salad and a curry beef puff and a veggie spring roll– if you don’t eat meat let them know and they’ll sub the beef for another spring roll. They don’t tell you they’re bringing it out, they just do automatically so you have to say something when you first sit down and place your order.
I hope this restaurant stays in business forever! It is such a special place for me with lots of happy memories.

I needed to find some delicious food after taking my mother to a doctor’s appointment. I always try my best to look at the rating through Georgia Department of Public Health. They have an A! The waitress that attended to us was very nice and very helpful in making food selections. The waitress surprised us complimentary appetizers that were very tasty. Our meals were very delicious. We each tasted the other’s meal and were extremely satisfied. This was our first time visiting this establishment. I would love to return to try more of their tasty dishes. Northlake Thai never disappoints. I have been here for lunch a few times and most recently dined yesterday. The staff is welcoming, pleasant, and attentive. They make sure that your glasses are filled, even if you’re only drinking water. The seafood is what I come for and my favorite thus far is the mussel dish. The portion sizes are typically ideal; the only thing I would advise people is that the spring rolls are relatively pricey for what you are getting.
I have taken friends and family here as first time diners and everyone has raved about how delicious everything is. I’ve never encountered a wait and will definitely continue coming back.

I thought the food and service were great! I arrived at about 6 pm and was promptly seated. The free appetizer was a nice treat. I ordered the panang curry with chicken and washed it down with a Thai beer.

My stepfather was a chef in the U.S. Navy. He traveled the world and became chief of the BOQ—Bachelors Officers Quarters. He’d be away for nearly a year or more to Asian and Mediterranean countries. So when he returned home from overseas, he’d make these dishes that few people in our southern city were likely to have prepared back in the 1950s, 60s and 70s. So I learned to eat food that was not your typical meat and potatoes, which was all my Mom could make. We learned by watching him cook. So as an adult, my culinary tastes lean toward the various cultures he introduced us to through food. Now that the wise man and I have moved again, I’m searching for places that serve different food. I make it at home as often as possible, but like to explore how others present and prepare food.

It was seasoned with a sauce that had just the right amount of chili peppers — just enough to give your tongue a little tingle but not too overwhelming. The waitress brought us jasmine hot tea in beautiful tea cups and the meal came with spring rolls. What a treat! We arrived before the dinner rush so it was nice and relaxing. After COVID, we have been reluctant to go out, but experiences like this are encouraging! Thank you Northlake Thai Cuisine!
