This place was surprising, the prices were a little high in my opinion but the food was good, I didn’t expect much when it came to Mexican food in Alaska but the Mexican food here was actually really good and the portions were large. The menu is diverse as well, one of us got a meatball sub while others got Mexican.

My husband and I ate here when we were on an Alaskan cruise and we LOVED it. We were initially shocked by the prices, but pleasantly surprised with the taste and quality of the food. I got the a la carte halibut tacos (subbed corn tortillas instead of flour)—amazing! The coleslaw and whatever sauce they use was perfect. My husband got chicken Parmesan and he loved it. He said it might be the best he’s ever had, and he’s a chicken parm snob so that says a lot!
It’s also a great spot for people with shell fish allergies because they have so many options. AND there was no line out the door. We would definitely come back here.

Don’t be outraged about the mandatory 18% service fee for parties of 1 or more. Ignore the 3% credit card fee because of greed…what is truly appalling is the crimes against Mexican cusine. The beef tacos might be on par with Old El Paso or maybe they fall below that because it cost you $18+. The tortillas fall apart at the touch of your hand leaving a mess on your plate. Be prepared to channel George Costenza eating your tacos with a knife and fork – you’ll look almost as odd as he did using those utensils to eat a KitKat. I would say stay away but the town is full of restaurants waiting to take advantage of cruise ship folk.

Found this place by coincidence.

We were 3 people and we ordered: jalapeño poppers, mozzarella sticks, a big pizza with pepperoni and ham, and beer.

Everything was delicious. Portions were big. The menu has several options.

The receipt was about $125 dollars, a little expensive but that is the price around the area.

Service was very attentive and kind. Would recommend for families or groups.

We were at this wonderful restaurant last week (5-20-25) while in Skagway on the Holland America cruise. The food was the best, the entire serving team great and it was a fun visit to Skagway. We were also on the train ride. Keep up the great work up there & we hope to return! Bob & Susan

Recently visited Skagway for the first time on an Alaskan cruise. Stopped in at the Northern Lights Pizzeria for pizza and found that they didn’t just serve pizza and pasta. Our server seated us and promptly took our order. She was very pleasant and explained menu items. They had Filipino food as their specials. I’m from Hawaii, and a good soup goes a long way. It was like being home, but not. I had the pork sinigang with steamed rice. They made the dish with pork ribs and veggies in a rich broth. It was very tasty. My friend had a plate of three tacos with rice and beans. She said it was good. We enjoyed our small tour of the town, historic cemetery, and the town and harbor scenic lookout.

The food and service were really good but very very pricey. I guess it’s be expected in a town that relies on tourism four months out of the year. I didn’t have the pizza, but it looked pretty darn good. I have the chicken enchilada, the sauce was a little different, but it was good. It came with a side of rice and beans, and it was enough to fill me up.

Had no wait suprisingly considering there were 3 ships in town. Definitely a nice place to eat. Service was good as well. The pizza was great and the 14″ was perfect to share between two people. The menu is pretty wide giving options for everyone. Prices aren’t great but I think that’s something you need to expect in a place like this.

This is a little pizzeria a few blocks away from the cruise docks (which is a bonus because the restaurants near the docks can get packed). We walked right in and were.seated right away. They have the standard Italian fare (pizzas, pastas), but they also have a large selection of Filipino entrees and daily specials.

Service was fast and friendly. Prices were par for the course for Alaska.

Listen, don’t just walk past the places on the main street. RUNNN until you get here! When I seen the sign said Italian and Mexican I just had to. Probably the best chicken Alfredo Ive ever had ANYWHERE. And the Gyro looked good as well. And lets not even talk about the mountain of food.
