Northern Grounds is a fantastic drive through coffee shop with lots of different flavor combinations for coffee-based drinks and Lotus energy drinks. They regularly have employees walking out to your cars when the line is long, to ensure the ordering process is sped up – that way when you get to the window your drinks are ready to go. The staff are always friendly and cheerful, the drinks always taste good, and we haven’t had a wrong order yet (and we have been several times with very large orders).

Northern Grounds Coffee has become our go-to spot for coffee, although sometimes we do have to pass by because their lines are too long (out to the road). From my first experience a year ago I didn’t care for their muffins but the coffee & many options simply amazing, even with child friendly options (wish there was more, and possibly due free options) but overall we have been a regular!

I’m always trying to find an alternative to Starbucks. I think this place could be great. Requested something very simple two shots of espresso w splash of coconut milk. 1) coffee was cold… that sucked. I think the espresso itself as a bean prob is decent but when it’s not hot AT ALL Luke warm at best, that blows as then you are on the road, like how am I supposed to heat it up? 2) please don’t ask me for a tip on my cc (paying interest on that tip) before I taste my coffee even? Who does that. Starbucks doesn’t even do that? Why would you train your employees to even ask for a tip? Cringe. I’m pretty tired of the imposing tip thing. Charge what you think the coffee is worth, and if your staff is not paid enough to make them ask for tips then pay them their worth? This tipping bs – just impolite and rude. Regardless of tips, service should be too notch as a standard not based on tips. Won’t be back anytime soon..
