Great place, a hidden gem! Such a cool north woods old time bar atmosphere with unique decor, free popcorn, even an old time jukebox. The owners are super friendly, and the beer and drinks were perfect.

Awesome atmosphere. The Bartender did an amazing job telling us the history of the building. Really cool old day saloon.

If I could give a zero I would. The most unfriendly bar staff. She told us they didn’t have menus so when my husband asked “you don’t have food” her rude response of “I just told you that” was unnecessary. The name literally has ‘grille’ in it and there is a 2 foot sign that says ‘food’ outside as well.

Love this place. Fascinating history. Beautiful old bar and building. Owners Bert and Mary are super nice. Excellent beer and liquor selection. Kettle River pizzas are awesome. One of the best little bars in Cloquet.

This place is. Must stop when in Cloquet, this has got to be one of the coolest old bars around. The Fitgers memorabilia is amazing and the atmosphere of this very nicely restored building is fitting to its era. I have driven by this place so many times over the years, I kick myself now for not stopping sooner. The owners enjoy giving you the history of this amazing building. You have to stop and at least grab a drink if passing through Cloquet, MN. I assure you, you will be glad you did!

Awesome place with great owners. We had them cater a meal for our group and it was flawless. The owners bent over backwards to ensure that everyone was happy and had a great time.
It is also a very cool historic building with a great vibe. This is a great place to hold group events.
