The Northeast section of Minneapolis is a surprising Mecca for neighborhood taverns, and I was blown away by the quality of the food and service. The burger was cooked to perfection and the fries were crispy and hot, complemented by an icy cold PBR. The bartender was very pleasant and made sure I had everything I needed, while the clientele were entertaining and added to the lively atmosphere. I can’t wait to come back and try the double cheeseburger again.

I meet some guys here once a month and the beer is cold, the vibe is consistent, the g&ts are strong and the burger and tots are delicious. Make sure to ask for Mary’s secret bbq sauce. Great value. Pool table and golden tee machine on premises too!

We were at the Northeast Commercial Club tonight. It was a Saturday Night, and there was a show at the Ritz Theater which is ab 3 doorways away. The place was very busy. They have a very limited menu, the service was very not very good and people , the portions were waiting a long time to get their food. The food was terrible, the portions are skimpy, and everything is way overpriced. I guess the theater crowd is what keeps this place going

Down to earth blue collar dive bar that has been around for a hundred plus years! Their alcohol lemonade is top notch!

Favorite dive bar in the cities. It’s got a more local feel. Bartenders are nice and prices are cheap it is usually a bit more quiet than other places so keep that in mind if you’re looking for a big crowd

Classic no frills NE dive bar with a pool table. Friendly crew of regulars and bartenders. I used to live down the street and it was like a second home. Todd the owner is a great dude. Who knows, you’ll probably run in to him hangin’ out at the bar with his long time neighborhood friends laughing, joking and buying them all drinks. Honestly, it’s just a great place, you won’t be disappointed.

Drinks are quite reasonable; pretty much happy hour prices all the time. Pork tenderloin, tilapia and varieties of soup served during weekday lunch hours. Turkey burger now added to all day hamburger/sandwich menu selections. Grill closed on Sundays (bar open 7 days). Gourmet Parlor Pizza available every day. Nice, comfortable patio. Friendly, welcoming staff.
