I love this coffee shop and have loved it since I was a kid. I come here often and am so happy to see it back open!!! I love the coffee here and the matcha!!
I have never really had this problem before but the worker here is just not very kind, he won’t make eye contact with anyone and won’t acknowledge you until completely necessary and just didn’t make me or the others I was with very welcome. I got a simple latte and made an effort to compliment his art and barely got any response or anything. I can understand a bad day as I am a manager at a restaurant but I felt as though he did not want to be there and the tone of which he called out the drinks was unnecessary and way to quiet. I will be back cause I love this place regardless but I do feel as though better service here would make this place feel more homey and elevate the atmosphere dramatically. I would never give this place a completely bad review as i absolutely love this place and wish no harm but I do feel as though the management team should be aware of the atmosphere when not here:) hope yall have a great day! Happy spring!!!

Beautiful building! Old train station or something… really cool. Great coffee… wife enjoyed it too!
Would 100% come here again. Tons of seating and huge variety. Dope pictures on the walls showing the history.

Well, let me tell you something about this coffee house. This coffee house is somewhere where you want to go to enjoy your coffee. surround with some friendly workers and friendly human beings from young to elders. I even met a famous wrestler, Art crews in the Northtown coffee House. Like I said, if you like to enjoy your coffee in the morning with a good atmosphere, this is the place.

A good place to sit and study, but every time I’ve come here, I’ve had subpar customer service… coffee isn’t great, but if you get Red Bull, hard to mess up. Wish this place was a bit better cause I like the vibe of the building a lot.

Edit: Tried to give this place another chance this morning, and after my experience, I can say that until something changes with the customer service, we will not be returning. I suppose I don’t understand how you can not have ice the first hour of the day. As a former barista myself, I understand things happen, but this was just the final straw for us until something changes. A shame too, because we genuinely enjoy the historical building and the atmosphere this place used to have.

Such a beautiful cafe in Yakima county, they had so many nice options for coffee, but what really made this place special was the different kinds of tea they had – jars upon jars of tea leaves. We got a pumpkin spice latte and blueberry tea, both heavenly delicious. The server was very nice as well. The interiors of the cafe were huge with antique decor, chandeliers and plush sofas, the ceilings were so high, Its rare to see such architecture for a cafe. You can also rent a room for group study sessions for $10 an hour. There were many students there working and studying. I would definitely recommend.

Best espresso in town! Fantastic cortado. The staff are awesome. After the remodel, the place looks better than ever. Plus the historic train depot aesthetic is iconic Yakima!

Very cool setting in a historic train station to relax and visit. The cafe was clean and there is plenty of seats The drinks were made perfect and service was normal pace. Great prices on drinks.

Great place! Mocha & Chai were delicious. Prices are a tad bit higher compared to most other locally owned coffee shops, but the atmosphere can’t be beat (given it’s inside a remodeled train station). I would go again.

Closed at 6, but shut down all equipment at 5:30pm. I went in at 5:30 to get a beverage to go, was asked what I wanted, and I said I needed a second. I looked at the menu for about 90 seconds and the barista said nothing. I tried to order a chai latte and at this time was informed that the machine was shut down. Why was this information not provided in the first interaction or as a disclaimer while I was reviewing the menu? And why is the COFFEE MACHINE at a COFFEE SHOP closed 30min before closing when it’s not a restaurant that requires table service?

Used to love it there, wish they still had any sense of hospitality or customer service. Also, as a side note, they used to have really cozy vibes and now it just has uncomfortable, skeletal, office-style furniture.
