Between the incredible food, the great service, the creative and well-crafted drinks, and the awesome speakeasy-style atmosphere, this place is definitely going to become a local favorite. The cocktails were just as impressive as the food—perfectly balanced, unique, and clearly made with care. It’s the kind of spot where you can relax, enjoy a great meal, and sip on an excellent drink in a really cool setting. I’m already looking forward to going back. ✨

We stopped into North Star Cantina for a networking night after dark, just a small group of four, and were absolutely blown away. From the moment we walked in, the staff treated us like we were the most important table in the room. Attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming.
The food was outstanding. Every plate that hit the table was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. You can tell there’s intention behind what they’re doing in that kitchen.
And the cocktails? Next level. Creative, perfectly balanced, and honestly some of the best we’ve had in the area. Each one felt crafted, not just poured.
Even on a casual weeknight with a small group, the experience felt elevated and memorable. North Star Cantina absolutely delivered. We’ll be back, and we’ll be bringing more people with us next time.

I really want to love this place and I think it can get there. The atmosphere is great as well as the staff. I think there’s just some growing pains going from food truck to restaurant. We find the food being served in boxes a bit awkward for the atmosphere but isn’t a huge deal. The menu is just a tad small. A few other options would be nice. Overall we have found some things great and other things just ok, especially the cocktails. This is definitely more noticeable on a small menu. I think a few tweaks and this could be a great spot.

Found this gem on a random night visiting Maine. Atmosphere was great, live music and lovely seating. Food was incredible, came with two friends & we scarfed it down. Waitress was so kind, even noticed I wasn’t really finishing my cocktail, asked if it was too strong & then fixed it for me!! Will definitely be back next time I’m in town.

Visited for the first time tonight on a whim upon realizing they’re open & am so glad I did!!! Love love LOVE the atmosphere inside, the vibe is so cozy & cool, and the lighting & music makes you feel instantly relaxed & ready to chill with a cheeky cocktail or two (or three… )! There is an excellent assortment of board games available at the tables, and I look forward to coming back for Trivia & Live Music nights!!
My one criticism is that the Pulled Pork and the Brisket my husband & I ordered had quite a bit of fat, in both the Tacos and the Sides we ordered. It was late in the evening when we went in to be fair, so maybe we got unlucky with the cuts that were remaining, but we did have to pick through & discard quite a bit of our meat orders due to the
parts that were purely fat. The Chips & Queso were fantastic though, as were our cocktails! I’m definitely curious to try out some of the other menu options in the future
Also, everyone working there tonight was so friendly and welcoming, & my husband & I had a great little spontaneous date night here looking forward to visiting again! ✨️

North Star Cantina is the most adorable! Their cocktails are amazing, the service is beyond great, and their food choices are fun and inventive! The cozy vibe is perfect for date night, girl’s night or just hanging with friends. We are so grateful we tried out this new hot spot. We are already huge fans and can’t wait to go back!
