We ate at the Happy Lobster twice while we were staying in North Caye Caulker. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. I had the best Pina Colada I’ve ever had. The food was delicious and portion sizes were great. The outdoor restraunt is covered and the atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing. I enjoyed the music they had playing and thought the volume was great so it did not hinder conversation.
They can get busy especially in the evening so you may want to call ahead for a reservation – opening hours may shift so make sure you check their social media or give them a call for that as well. Staff let us know that they deliver food and they also provide a pick up service and drive you back to your place if you’d like. They are located on the road just behind the Zenses hotel/Blu Zen resort. It was much closer than I thought – about a 5-10 min walk (depending how quickly you walk) down the street. Head down the road beside the hotel and go left (south) on the next main road, the restaurant will be on right

If you are on the North end of Calker Caye, Happy Lobster is a great spot.
Simple, quaint and unassuming decor—delicious coconut mojitos! The fresh coconut milk with the right amount of mint taste – a great balanced, creamy drink.
The grilled lobster was very well prepared with coconut rice with bananas. Yum!!

We stayed on the North Side and ate here numerous times! Portions are large, food is delicious! If not on the menu, just ask, if they can accommodate, they will! Can not recommend this place enough for Caye Caulker. Some of the best meals we had were here!

We had dinner here as a group of 9 one night & enjoyed it so much that we returned the next night! Terrific staff looked after our large group really well. The various conch appetizers were a big hit & we all a variety of dishes – lots of lobster!

Very nice restaurant, neat and clean, very friendly people. Get the seafood ceviche. Must try the Barracusa Steak and Margarita Shrimp!! The food was fresh, expertly prepared, presentation was gorgeous. The bar is beautiful, music was great; The drinks were served in really nice crystal. The coca with Belize whiskey, was out of this world. They have a free golf cart service to transport you to & from the restaurant. This is a great stop for lunch or dinner!

The food was fresh, expertly prepared, presentation was gorgeous. The bar is beautiful, music was great; The drinks were served in really nice crystal. The piña colada was real- not a mix we had on the south island. They have a free golf cart service to transport you to & from the restaurant. This would be a great stop for lunch or dinner!
