At north point, keeping family tradition is important. Our restaurant has gone through many changes throughout the years, including a fire in 2018 that resulted in total loss of the building (who knew wet towels could self-combust?). As we’ve rebuilt, 3 traditions we’ve promised to maintain are the memory of Grandpa Fred’s love for farming and tractors, our world-famous steak sandwich, and the 30-foot tall windmill outside. The windmill by the restaurant today is from the farm where Grandma Elaine grew up. It was a working mill and stood many years at the Wegener farm, helping to pump water for the cattle troughs. The windmill represents a family tradition, similar to many of the items featured on our menu that we’re sure you’ll enjoy.

My family and I came here to celebrate my mother’s birthday and we were very dissatisfied with the food. 4 people orders the steak sandwich and we were all displeased with it, there was way to much garlic and salt on them and barley even had any marinara sauce. Another guest ordered an appetizer and it came out with his meal instead of before, additionally another guest paid $2.25 for a very small portion of coleslaw. We were all very excited to visit this restaurant since we went there years ago, but unfortunately we won’t be back. Only giving two starts because the waitress was nice, I didn’t catch her name.

Was there with my sister- in-laws. One had a steak sandwich which she said the meat tasted off. Like it was freezer burnt. The other one had a quesadilla which she said usually great. She gets them there all the time. This time not so much was over filled and soggy. My salad was fine but my onion rings were burnt. Very over done

The food was okay; for the price, it was fine. The fries were delicious. However, the service is what gives this review a 2-star rating. We sat at the bar, and the lady who was bartending/serving us seemed out of it. Like inattentive, unhappy, did not care at all. They were also out of a lot of the stuff we ordered.

The staff you hire makes or breaks your reviews and customer satisfaction. If you check Yelp, the service issue comes up a lot. Fix that and the food inconsistencies won’t matter as much.

Stopped by for lunch and were very pleased. The steak sandwich was very good (and the garlic toast was outstanding), and we enjoyed the pizza. The hot cheese balls appetizer was great, and came with a very tasty marinara sauce. Serving sizes were generous. There is a full service bar and food prices were reasonable. Staff was friendly and helpful and the restaurant was very clean.

Went to a memorial lunch for my brother on the patio, my mom and sister chose the place,. There was such a big turnout that we were allowed to take over a bit of the dining room also. The service and food were fantastic. I highly recommend. Jacob the manager was great and so were the servers.

This place doesn’t even deserve 1 star. I ordered soup and salad. My husband ordered the “world famous” steak sandwich. Waited an hour and 10 minutes to be told that the soup I ordered, they didn’t have. But they were willing to UNFREEZE it for me… no thanks. We’ll take our bill and go. My husband got his sandwich to go. Went to a he gas station/McDonald’s across the street and opened it up to find a hunk of dry and hard meat, with tomato sauce and so sloppy. We threw it in the garbage and ended up getting McDonald’s which was way better than the crap we were just given.

When my husband asked the waitress what was in the sandwich she never mentioned tomato sauce so we’re guessing that was a screw up.

Short a cook or not, no excuse at all. That food was not worth bringing to the table – especially after an hour of sitting there. We will never be back.

Extremely clean and the staff is super friendly! Food was brought out quickly and they have a lot of historic photos of the local farms. Lots of tractor models on displays. Our server Emily D was so very nice and timely.

The extra bonus was the rap music video we could barely hear in the kitchen. Haha

We ate here on our way home from a day at the beach. Overall, the food was great. We ordered the alfredo pizza, pulled pork/brisket nachos and the artichoke dip. Good flavors and the food was served hot and fresh. We will definitely be back again. Reasonable prices and great service!

Very clean and super friendly. Fried pickles are amazing. Worth the visit alone. I felt the meat on the steak sandwich was very bland and lacked seasoning. Marinara was very plain. Fries are great. Prices are fair. Cool atmosphere…tall ceiling with a monster ceiling fan and pictures of local farms. Tractors everywhere! Will come back for more pickles and to try the pizza.
