North Park Lounge McCandless is a family-owned restaurant and sports bar in McCandless Township, proudly serving the North Hills of Pittsburgh for over 35 years. We’re known as one of the best restaurants in McCandless for classic American food — from our famous wings and appetizers to hearty burgers and sandwiches. Great lunch here. Had a new sandwich that was fabulous. Salmon BLT. Main dining area gets a little too noisy for me to hear well. Atrium dining was perfect. Good food, fast service, friendly waitress, no problem for sitting and talking for 1-1/2 hours. Loved it. And plenty of parking.

My husband and I traveled to Pittsburgh for a meeting. Our accountant suggested eating at North Park Lounge. I’m so glad we did. The food was amazing. I’ve been to many restaurants, but North Park Lounge has the absolute best chicken. Everything was delicious. And the waitress had a great attitude as well. My husband and I will definitely stop by for a bite next time we’re in McCandless.

Went there for happy hour again, they say you have to sit at the bar to get drink specials, but when you get there all their relatives and friends are sitting at the bar, so you get a table and you go to the bar to get a drink and the rude bar tender says, you have to stay at your table and the waitress will get your drinks at full price, she was very ignorant…food wasn’t nothing to praise about either, their Thursday night Mexican taco fries had hardley anything on them and the soft fajitas shells were dried up…
So you can go to Primanti brothers and get happy hour from 4 to 7 at any area in the bar. Food is great !
Red lobster is another location you can get drinks anywhere in the dining area. Excellent food
Cheese cake factory…
You can sit in the dining area and get happy hour prices.
Food is very excellent.
Mineos Pizza…great food.
They give you happy hour no matter where you sit.
Again try their delicious pizza.
Caliente Pizza, sit anywhere to get happy hour…

The establishment was very nice and clean and nicely decorated for the Steelers. The employees were very nice and it was pleasant environment to enjoy my meal at. The food. They can do better with maybe the pricing for what you get and gave more options. For the price I paid for my food and 2 others that was with me I wasn’t impressed by the taste. The soup andcgicken fingers were good tasting but everything else was just the norm. Wasn’t too impressive for me to visit again when I’m in the area again.

NPL is a great place. Started with a bar pie with sausage. Cooked well done, dough made fresh daily and it definitely satisfied my pizza craving. The star of the show was the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich. Huge piece of chicken dipped in Nashville Hot sauce. Amazing heat, juicy chicken with crispy pickles. Really good. Great beer selection and ice cold. When in the Pittsburgh, this NY Rangers fan by way of Florida will be back hungry for more!

The place was absolutely packed when we went, but the service was still amazing! The pizza sauce is a little on the watery side, so the cheese doesn’t really stay well on the pizza, but the Lounge Fries are to die for. Ordered a large fry because I expected the portion to be small, but they provided a huge portion of the fries, ended up taking half home! Highly recommend!

A large food menu with something for everyone, delicious cocktails and cold beer- what more could you ask for!!! Recently opened for breakfast seven days a week- would love to check it out! Had a few fall beers and tried the garlic rolls which were amazing. Homemade dough, baked to perfection with a warm, fluffy center and crispy crust topped with olive oil, flavorful garlic and parmesan cheese. So many items on the food looked really good. They also have daily specials! Will certainly be back.

Busy when i arrived, but the wait for a table was very short. Krista was my server and she was wonderful … Pleasant, friendly, attentive, and joyt to work with through my visit.
I had a cup of the pepperoni roll soup. I would describe it as Italian chili. I really enjoyed it, great flavor, and an interesting creation.
I was in the mood for a fish sandwich and I chose this is my entree. I was not disappointed. Sometimes the breading of these fish sandwiches takes over. Not so with this one! The breading was light crispy and flavorful lending a great compliment to the fish. The fish, by the way was perfectly cooked. Firm and tender and or just the right amount of seasoning. I didn’t have the bread as the fish was what I was there for today
