North Main Kava in downtown Lowell, NC will be serving kava, kratom, coffee, and mocktails. This is a great little place for anyone who enjoys an alcohol free, but bar type environment. We will be hosting trivia, karaoke, and have some live music, as we become more established. Look for events coming. We all know coffee, but what is kava and kratom? Kava is a great substitute for alcohol, which originated in Fiji. Kratom is in the coffee family and originated in Southeast Asia.

Such a great little location in the downtown Lowell area. The owners are super kind, and the service is superb. I’m new to the Kava scene, but I must say I really enjoyed a number of drinks they serve. There’s also coffee for the coffee lovers as well- like myself. Such a very cool spot. This place and the people here are absolutely amazing. Im not very good at being social and get overwhelmed very easily, but the two times I’ve been here have been great.
The owners Bambe and Sam are some of the most kind and accepting people I’ve met. Not many places in the area are as comfy and welcoming as here.

What an amazing place! We had no idea what we were walking into, wanted to try a Kava place after hearing about it from friends, the Kava is delicious and relaxing (I had 3) but what makes this place really special is the people. The owners, the activites (check their website for music trivia, karaoke). This is a great contrast to today’s modern world of bars where no one interacts with each other, and everyone just gets tipsy and then leaves. This is a special place where humans interact with other humans. Wish I didn’t live an hour away, but I’ll still be back <3

Honestly, any words I say here can’t do this place justice with how welcoming it is and the overall quality of the kratom and kava I got there as well as how knowledgeable Sam is with the stuff and guiding me on how to use it as a first timer with the stuff. No alcohol is allowed on the premise and this place made someone who gets nervous easily in new places comfortable and social with everyone there.
