Let me just say that this place is an absolute win. From exceptional food to impeccable service, the North Lake Grill is an absolute must when in the area! My fiance and I were hiking at Huntsville State Park and decided to try this location due to its close proximity. The owner, Mr. Travis, took such good care of us. You can tell that the owner not only cares for his employees and business, but ensuring his clients are taken care of as well. The hamburgers are hands down some the of the best burgers I have ever had. Also the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming to our dogs! We will most definitely be back!

Forgot to take photos but we ordered the Hawaiian burger and black pepper brisket sammie with fries, Mac n cheese, and two jalapeño sliders. Everything was delicious. We sat outside and had the most beautiful view.

Food is great. Be nice if they were open when they say they are. Love the food and the people are great. The problem is multiple times I’ve gone by and they are closed during tbeir posted operating hours and online sources aren’t accurate either.
Super frustrating. Last time I’ll try to give them business…
They use social media to post lots of events pre/post. Why not use it to let folks know you are going to be closed during posted hours? Recommend calling beforehand any time you plan to go to avoid disappointment.

After a huge storm we needed some good food to lift our spirits, and we found it! They were about to close because of the storm but stayed open for us. The owner was a great guy and treated us so well. He didn’t even know we were celebrating my son’s Bday with this trip and gave us a free brownie desert. A true gem of a restaurant. We can’t wait to return on a beautiful lake day. We want to try more stuff off their huge menu. GO HERE!

Great spot. I had the Bigfoot Burger, which was huge and delicious. My wife had the patty melt and a salad, she loved it. My daughter had the classic burger and said it was probably the best burger she had ever had in her life (hungry 13 year old). You order at the counter and sit down at picnic tables inside or they have some metal furniture on the patio if you would like to eat alfresco. I highly recommend giving them a try. Great menu options for everyone.

Stopped in to try some Texas BBQ. Absolutely amazing!! The brisket is to die for. The pulled pork was incredible. I enjoy the baked beans as well. Acoustic music and friendly staff. If I lived here, this would be a go to spot. Must try!

Service was great. The food came out pretty quick. The crawfish were gigantic. Biggest crawfish I’ve seen this season. The crawfish had a good taste, mild not too spicy. Citrus and garlic forward. All the crawfish fixens were good as well. Will definitely be back. Has a nice view of lake conroe. Boat ramp, grocery store. A nice little all in one sport.

I came with two girlfriends and we were clearly three young ladies from out of town so there was a bit of a silence when we walked in to this very local joint. However the vibes settled down after a bit and Travis was sooo nice at the counter ! 10 out of 10 service. The shrimp and catfish were fried to perfection. The okra was a bit in the slimy side. They ran out of brisket and crawfish so be mindful of rush times. I wish I could have bought some art but I did get some earrings from the local artisan. You can BYOB from the well equipped bodega attached next door.
Will definitely come again next time I’m in the area.

I was 1000% satisfied with my meal! Sooo yummy. I got some boudin eggrolls which were phenomenal. A catfish plate which I would go as far to say was the tastiest fried catfish I’ve ever had! I chose onion rings and the recomended cranberry cole slaw. The onion rings were good but the slaw was fantastic! Creamy and unique.. a little sweet. wow wow wow!

Have been there several times with neighbors and enjoyed great food and service each time. My family offered a birthday lunch and I said North Lake Grill. Our herd showed up right when they opened- 4 adults and 5 kids under 11. Everyone was taken care of, the food was great and arrived quickly. Owner came by to check on us, joked we were so quiet – told him the kids were chowing down on their lunches and enjoying every last bite. Casual dining, attentive service, rustic cabin feel with pine trees by the lake. Definitely recommend.
