The three of us shared a margarita pizza, an heirloom beet and chicken salad, and squid ink tonnarelli. Everything was delicious. We had some wine too. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. For dessert, we shared a maple-glazed bombolini (Italian donuts), which was amazing. I loved the atmosphere and the abundance of plants throughout the restaurant.
Highly recommended!

Once again, North Italia will never let you down, and they just keep surprising you!!!

This time ordered their Kale Salad, first bite, you taste the freshness of kale, second bite, with the apple, grape, and raspberry mixed in, the chemistry of sweet and bitter in your mouth, you’ll not stop once you start.

Could not help but ordering Spicy Rigatoni Vodka again, man, it is just the best pasta ever, period.

Have to talk about my first pizza here at North Italia, Honey and Smoked Prosciutto, OMG, it goes to top of my chart right away, not just the idea of topping honey and prosciutto on the flavorful dough, but the tomato sauce with the twist of spicy flavors, nothing can beat it.

Always a great culinary experience, from the delicious appetizers, good beverage selection, amazing main courses and finishing with an incredible dessert. You just need to make sure that you are prepared to try everything.
So delicious that I forgot to take pictures with everything that we had.
The entire staff is super responsive and ready to help if you have questions.

Located right at the entrance of the Del Amo mall, North Italia has a modern, nice vibe. We came in after checking out Macy’s furniture and were seated right away, not too many people for dinner that night.

We’ve always liked their pizza and pasta, but this time we went with a pizza, mussels, and added a calamari appetizer. Food was still solid and tasty.

The only downside was the service. Our waitress was nowhere to be found most of the night, and everything took a long time, so dinner stretched out way longer than it should have. Even so, we still enjoyed the food.

One thing to note: the noise level has gone up quite a bit, and parking is a mess.

North Italia is a bustling restaurant. The atmosphere is vibrant and loud. The background music is actually in the foreground. The design of the restaurant lends to loud conversations as there is “noise” from other tables all around.

The food is commercial, like a typical Cheesecake Factory. Oh, that’s right, North Italia is part of the Cheesecake Factory Incorporated group of restaurants. Which is an indication of what the meal is like.

We started with an order of their White Truffle Garlic Bread topped with a dollop of Ricotta cheese. This is delish! I must say, a wonderful experience of crunchy bread on the outside and flavorful garlic on the inside. Nothing like anything I’ve had before!

I ordered the Tortelloni al Pomodoro. Which was a thick commercial type pasta dish with a few small sliced tomatoes in a commercial olive oil type sauce. Not a repeat.

We also ordered a Pepperoni pizza. Which comes on their signature in-house dough. The pizza was enjoyable, but not a “wow” this is a great pizza experience.

The impressive part of our evening was the service. We had a reservation and ran about 5 minutes late. Despite the very busy front desk and restaurant, our table was waiting for us. The hostess took our drink order as we were seated and did a quick perusal of the menu and the evenings special four course meal. (Small plate, appetizer, main course and dessert for $75 per person).

Waters came to the table before our waiter/waitress came. All good so far.

The waitress, who I do not believe ever introduced herself, took our order without suggesting anything or asked if we had been here before? Which I thought was odd.

The food was delivered by kitchen staff, and we were only checked on once. She did drop off a dessert menu when the dishes were cleared, but did not “recommend” a possible choice or a house special. Which again, I thought was odd and not very personable. She gets a low C as far as servers. The other staff was spot on perfect – therefore I gave North Italia Del Amo five stars for service.

My nieces and I had lunch there today and our waitress was excellent. She gave us free grilled bread with balsamic vinegar which she certainly didn’t have to. We ordered a number of appetizers like fried calamari, zucca chips, truffle bread, eggplant parmesan, caesar salad, hash browns, for 5 people and had more than enough to take home. We also ordered chicken parmesan and tortellini. Awesome service. My nieces go to the north italia in Georgia and recommended we try it.

Expensive but delicious Italian food. I ordered the meatballs and spaghetti, kale salad and truffle garlic bread. My total was 67 dollars. I could not eat everything except for the kale salad with help from my Lil buddy. He loved the food too and kept asking for samples. I got it to go but will dine in next time.

I love to be here at Happy Hour which is 3-6 pm and I believe is Monday through Friday.
My favorite drink is the season Watermelon alcoholic drink and for the dessert, I’m obsessed with the Panna Cotta.

North Italia Del Amo is incredible! There are no other ways to describe the restaurant. It’s a unique “scratch” restaurant. This means that everything is made from scratch daily, including the pizza dough. Everything was so fresh and good. I waved lasagna, but I saw the pizza on other tables, and I couldn’t resist the urge to have one for myself. It was so worth it. This pizza is exceptional, and I visit Italy annually . Everything was delicious, down to the locally brewed beers. It’s also very reasonably priced. We paid an average of $48 per person with alcohol and appetizers. I very much recommend this restaurant.

My wife and I go to the El Segundo branch a lot so was looking forward to this opening (closer). Definitely not disappointed 🙂 All the usual favorites and I tried their breakfast short rib hash, delicious! We also got to try a pumpkin cake (?) a la mode? Also good but would have been better if the cake itself was warm. The new porchetta is great!
