We had such a lovely experience at this Italian restaurant. We even had the chance to meet the general manager today, which made the visit feel even more special.
The food was absolutely delicious. It truly felt like a little taste of Italy in Tucson. The flavors were incredible. We tried the pizzas, including the prosciutto and the honey pizza, and both were outstanding.
The tiramisu was unforgettable. And the service from our waiter was top-notch from start to finish.
Highly recommended. We will definitely be back.

It’s a nice place with a great patio. It has good happy hour drinks. The Old Fashioned is so tasty with the hazelnut.
The food was the problem. It is extremely over seasoned. Our tongues were burning after the Caesar salad- way too much lemon, pepper and salt. Then came the cacio e Pepe pizza- COVERED in crushed red pepper and pounds of cheese. It made the pizza so heavy. It reminded me of Pizza Hut. Italian pizza should be lighter. Even the crust was salty.
When the waiter asked – red pepper or cheese- I thought he was stating what was on the pizza lol
Service was good. Drinks were good. Go for happy hour drinks. Skip the food.

Extremely slow experience! We were really looking forward to trying this place, and our server was absolutely wonderful—friendly, attentive, and did everything right on their end. Unfortunately, the kitchen was unbelievably slow. It took an unusually long time just to get two appetizers, and by the time our pizza arrived, we had been waiting so long that it really took away from the experience.
To make things worse, the pizza itself was disappointing. The crust was burnt, hard as a rock, and overall not very enjoyable. It’s a shame, because the service from our server was fantastic, but the food quality and pace from the kitchen just didn’t match.
We left feeling frustrated and let down after what could have been a great meal. Hopefully, management takes note and addresses the kitchen delays and food consistency, because the front-of-house team deserves better support.

Can I just say, wow! This restaurant was great. Our server was very attentive to us, made sure we had what we needed. Our food was great, I loved the seasonal vegetable salad with dates, squash and pistachio, topped with a white vinaigrette dressing. Since they make everything fresh they were very accommodating for my needs and diet restrictions. We ordered mocktails from their menu and the peach ginger beer was great, beautiful presentation as well. My husband got a steak over truffle risotto which was delicious. We also met the manager, she was really nice. We will definitely be back here again to try different dishes!

We arrived with are party on time for our reservation. All was going perfect. Great atmosphere . Table was ready and set up. Drink orders taken then we waited. That was the beginning of our 3hr dinner. Everything when in slow motion. Long story shot. We finally had food on the table 2 hrs later. Food was average. Nothing to talk about. We have been there 4 times over over the the bast 2 years. We were hoping tonight would change our opinion about this place. Tonight we decided we are not returning. We had 5 in our party. Drinks and food . Walked out with an over a $400 bill. Not worth it.

North Italia never disappoints. The short rib is incredible—rich, tender, and full of flavor. The shrimp scampi and eggplant appetizers are both delicious and perfectly executed. They also offer an excellent selection of wines to complement the meal.
The staff is always attentive and accommodating, especially with gluten-free and other special dietary needs, which is greatly appreciated.
The atmosphere is decent, but it can get quite noisy when the place is full—even out on the patio.
Despite that, it’s a fantastic dining experience overall. Highly recommend!
