Exceptional service, delicious food, and a beautiful atmosphere!

North Italia was amazing from start to finish. The service was incredibly friendly and attentive — truly exceptional.
We enjoyed the Hot Honey Smokes Prosciutto pizza, Little Gem Caesar salad, chopped chicken salad, burrata di stagioni, and the grilled bread with great olive oil. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The prosciutto pizza and burrata were outstanding!
And I have to mention the Sweater Weather cocktail — OMG! Spicy, hot, and absolutely perfect for a chilly day. A must-have drink if you visit during the winter season!
The ambiance is warm and inviting, and the location is beautiful, making the whole experience even better.
Highly recommend North Italia for anyone looking for superb food, great cocktails, and excellent service. I will definitely be returning!

We had a great experience at North Italia! The food is excellent and the cocktails are a lot of fun. We visited in December and really enjoyed their seasonal cocktails—they were creative, flavorful, and beautifully made.

The pasta dishes are hearty and very filling, and the salads are fresh and delicious. My daughter always gets the pizza, and she loves it every time.

The only thing to note is that it’s a bit pricey for Italian, but the quality and atmosphere help balance it out. Overall, a wonderful place for a special meal or night out. Highly recommend!

North Italian- The Domain, Austin, TX. First I’d say this is the worst Italian restaurant I’ve been to in a long time. Food today is a no for me and my guest- each meal my guest ordered was watery, and without taste. Tasted like thawed freezer food. The scallops actually still had warm tasteless water drip in ur mouth once u decide to chew. Mine had chicken that was like sawdust crumbling in ur mouth and the added shrimps were just boiled and put on the food.
Open kitchen was dirty as well.

Our hostess, Kearstin was awesome, she was attentive to each person’s order and pleasant. Wine selection was great as well.

Will I return- definitely No!

This spot already wins for its prime location and upbeat energy. Even on a Monday evening, the crowd was great and the place carried that lively Austin vibe. We were a group of five adults and two kids, and the ambience felt warm, inviting, and family-friendly.

Food & Drinks:
Everything we ordered was spot on! The White Truffle Garlic Bread was rich, buttery, and packed with flavour. The Crispy Eggplant Parmesan was golden and perfectly layered & a must try. We tried two pizzas — Funghi and Hot Honey & Smoked Prosciutto — both baked to perfection with balanced toppings.
The Trottole Chicken Pesto Pasta was creamy and flavorful, while the Strozzapreti Pasta brought in authentic Italian comfort. A bottle of wine and a Jump Start completed the table beautifully.

Service & Ambience:
Service was smooth and friendly — attentive without being intrusive. The staff managed our group effortlessly. The overall atmosphere had that chic, modern charm with just the right hint of Austin buzz.

Final Verdict:
A wonderful dining experience with vibrant energy, great food, and perfect location vibes. Whether it’s a casual weekday dinner or a weekend night out.

A definite yes for repeat visits!

Got lucky with no wait at North Italia but did not last long where shortly after a line formed. The food here is consistently good and for lunch ordered the Chopped Chicken salad. Their service was great but felt the place was a little cramped with too many table settings. The salad was really good and had a very nice flavor with some unique ingredients. The chicken had wonderful seasoning to it and all together was a healthy option for the day.

Food was amazing. The truffle bread appetizer was a great start to the meal, topping it off with some of the best lasagna and tortellini we’ve ever had. The drinks were aggressively mid, they had too much mint and were overpriced. Also, it was quite loud and non-private. Will likely choose elsewhere for date night.

The food was good. I wish they would make the outdoor patio area more available to people with kids. It would be nice to sit outside so the kids can play in the grass area right there. They just never seem prepared to sit anyone out on the patio near the grass. Both times I’ve been the kitchen and staff have been “backed up”.

After trying Taverna and Maggiano’s, we felt like we had to give North Italia a try as another Italian spot in The Domain. Parking is pretty easy to find with the pink garage nearby and lot parking behind the restaurant. Setting a reservation is quick and seamless as well as the check-in process. We were quickly seated with high hopes and here’s what we found…

The service was okay. Our waiter had a pretty easy job, we ordered our things immediately and he answered a question or two we had about the menu. We didn’t have our water glasses refilled until we were done with our entire meal and ready to pack it up to go, which isn’t the biggest deal but the restaurant was pretty empty at dinner time. The food, likewise, was okay. We ordered the white truffle garlic bread, spaghetti and meatballs, and spicy rigatoni vodka. The best part of everything was the white truffle garlic bread. We got it without the white truffle but the ricotta with the bread was delicious and a great way to start the meal. Unfortunately, everything after that was very much bland or not quite there. The spaghetti and meatballs didn’t taste like anything you can’t make at home with a bit of cooking knowledge and the spicy rigatoni vodka had so many different textures that the entire meal felt uneven. The rigatoni was al dente, the sauce was thin, the meat had different textures with different bites. Just very underwhelming.

For what it is, North Italia isn’t bad. However, if you’re looking for a good Italian dinner you can get better at Taverna or even Maggiano’s where the setting and food are better for the same or lower cost. Maybe other dishes are better and we can try another time, we just weren’t wowed here, especially after looking at the final bill.

Great suggestion by our daughter for lunch. The salads were generous with wonderful flavor combinations. The shrimp scampi was 5 stars by itself! We enjoyed the zucchini chips-heavenly….cue angelic music. In addition, we also ordered GF Prosciutto Pizza, topped with goat cheese, Prosciutto, figs, and arugula…simply amazing. Our table of six was sat quickly right around 1pm walk up. We sat inside (quite air conditioned), but the outside seating (covered-fans) was lovely, too. Though we did not part-take, the drink options were abundant and offered everything from sodas and mocktails to beautiful martinis. Go enjoy one when you check them out!

Izzy was amazing! Even though the restaurant was super busy, our server was absolutely amazing! She stayed friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever making us feel rushed. You could tell she was juggling a lot, but she handled it with such professionalism and a great attitude. Truly appreciated her effort — she made our experience wonderful!
