I visited this place due to an event that was being hosted here. I had never heard of it before this. It was brunch event. So the food options were a little limited but the food i tried was all very delicious. The restaurant is very spacious, with a great atmosphere. Being able to see the cooks prepping all the food from scratch was very fun. The event was a huge success at this location. And I loved how incredibly welcoming the entire staff here was. It was one of the most wholesome experiences I’ve had a restaurant in a very long time. All in all, I cannot wait to visit this place again in the near future! Our server Jacob was the best, incredibly attentive the entire way through. The event was 5 hours long and he was on it the whole time with a 100% percent full restaurant. I will definitely be recommending North Italia!

The atmosphere is very warm soft romantic vibes, i walked in and felt underdressed because it’s definitely a beautiful spot for date night. The staff was so kind we were seated and taken care of very quickly. The food was delicious. The pasta had to home made from scratch. Only suggestion is softer bread we had the toast appetizer with oil and it was good but it’s difficult to eat because the bread feels too sharp. I feel like soft garlic bread will be a hit especially with the food. But all was good and we will definitely return. I wish i knew my servers name to credit her but she was very kind and attentive.

The food was delicious. Unlike some Italian food restaurants I’ve been to the food was skillfully prepared and not overly seasoned and greasy. This food was spot on. Everything we tried was cooked to perfection. We will definitely be back to try other dishes. I highly recommend this restaurant. Oh yeah, try the Sunday lasagna.. It was so good.

If you are coming during the weekend, I highly recommend a reservation. This a unique Italian spot with rich flavors but I think it is a little on the pricier end for a casual vibe. It was pretty laid back but louder due to the restaurant being full and busy. Despite this, the service was good and they were welcoming from the beginning to the time we left. Below are my ratings on what we ordered:

trottole pesto 5/5
braised short rib marsala 4/5 (I wanted more protein)
bread 5/5
calamari 5/5

Give yourself enough time to find parking because this is a busy area in La Cantera but at least it is free parking 🙂

My wife and I have been going for 6 years. It was one of our favorite date nights. That changed this evening. We always order the same thing: zucchini noodles, white sauce and shrimp. Cost usually around $25+ per serving fluctuates by server. This evening we charged $40 for each! We asked why the price was so much. The server said because they had to order all separately. The server asked the manager about, without coming to talk to us, he told her to tell us he won’t charge us for the mushrooms and the spinach leaves. So we paid $36 for each. It’s not about the money, we enjoy the food and atmosphere, this about doing what’s right.
This does not look like a $40 meal. (See Picture) Unfortunately, will be finding another place for date night.

This place is just so good. Food, cocktail, and wine menu are consistently good. I know I’m going to have a fantastic meal, excellent service, and a relaxed atmosphere. Don’t pass up on their appetizers or salads. They’re just as good as the main entrees. Better in my opinion!

Their Prosciutto Bruschetta is the THANG on this menu. I want this every day.

I went for restaurant week and fell in love with the spicy vodka pasta! They have me hooked now. It’s so delicious and not too spicy but just right. I loved the strawberry gelato as well and wish I could ask for more (and it would be free).

The service is great as well. I love the patio area, but it’s just too hot right now. I also love the location and there’s so much to do around this restaurant.

Eden was the absolute best server ever. Very patient and informative over drinks and food. The food was phenomenal and drinks were amazing. Great suggestions from him, very sweet and kind server. Will definitely be coming back with more friends and family later on. Highly recommend the asparagus and baked bread for appetizers. The sundae was the best as well!!

I tried the Culinaria Restaurant Week menú, and let me just say compliments to whomever came up with that menu.

I first tried the Cacio E Pepe Arancini. It was both cheesy and had a nice spicy peppery taste to it due to the crushed pepper. The pesto aioli complimented it well.
Then I ordered the Lasagna Bianca Al Forno which is a bechamel-based lasagna topped with braised short rib. Most people in the U.S. are familiar with meat-based lasagnas since it took a foothold in the U.S. when many from Southern Italy immigrated here. Bechamel-based lasagna is more of a Northern Italian dish and is true to the name of the restaurant.
The staff let me know that they needed to make the lasagna from scratch, which gave me an indication that it should be good.
It did not disappoint! It was a delicious dish.
The 3-course meal came to a satisfying conclusion with the tiramisu that I ordered.
The Tiramisu took me pleasantly by surprise since I was not expecting such a fancy yet phenomenal dessert.

To enhance the experience, the atmosphere was modern and comfortable. There was a nice perfume or cologne in the air, and the music really livened up the place without being obnoxious or overly loud. The bartender, Christian, did an outstanding job in keeping everyone taken care of as well as trading friendly banter.
Overall, this place was worth visiting and I plan on future visits as well.

If I could give this place zero stars I would.
I asked for the Happy Hour menu to get some appetizers, they bring me my meatballs cold but the plate is warm. I tell the server she brings me back the plate of meatballs claim that they were fresh and new might I add re-made, when in fact all the chef did was pour additional steaming hot tomato sauce to make up for what was cold, re-served me back the same dish no later than 3 minutes after and again the meatballs were still cold inside & undercooked. The server explained to me accommodations can be made to the pasta as she listed the menus pastas. so I requested something very simple and removed what is extra from
The plate. No problem. They bring me the pasta beautifully platef although very salty & then they served me a big not small BIG PEICE of fat, it was a whole chunk inside the pasta. Like are you serious? You can’t mistake fat for chicken there’s no way. I asked the server like you know I don’t think this is supposed to be in here, her response was “oh sometimes it happens” no no no no no its not sometimes, that’s completely disgusting & unacceptable. ITS NOT SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN. I will not be returning back here. Its one thing to come to enjoy a new place but its another to have service that is given to you passive aggressively and food that looks great on the outside but a disaster once it hits your tongue. Lastly, I get the bill and I’m overcharged of course as if I wasn’t going to see the overcharge. Normally I don’t leave reviews but I’m very disappointed.
