My first time here and I went on my bday. Decided to sit at the bar, let them know it was my bday and was told I can get a free dessert. I ordered the short rib sandwich and it was sooooooo good. Meat was flavorful and tender, was just perfection. I got a sweet tea to drink and it was sweetened perfectly. The young lady behind the bar was very nice. I loved the decor of the place and it was very clean inside. Can’t wait to go back and try other items.

This place is very nice to dine at. However, parking is a little bit hectic (Ypu do get 30 mond of free parking though) Our server was amazing by being very attentive and accomodating.
We were able to enjoy the $25 holiday menu. It came with a small plate and entree. NY wife and I had a tasty drink which was about $15. We both had the meatball small plate and that was so so so delicious . My wife enjoyed her entree which was the chicken parmesan and pasta. However, I do not feel the same way about my meal. I had the shrimp scampi and it was much to be desired. I had to request for additional scampi sauce because it was very dry. Although, I received more, the entire meal lacked flavor. There was no scampi taste, the shrimp needed salt and seasoning. It was very bland. I was dismayed.

Excellent service. I swung by to pick up a to go order. From the person who answered the phone, the greeting at the door as I walked in, to receiving my order at the bar and the pleasant farewell, you can not go wrong with the experience. I ordered the chicken Parmesan sandwich and fries, and it was spectacular as well.

I’ll preface this in saying this place could be a 5 star or a 2 star on any given night. Pleaaasssee get control of kitchen consistency, it’s heartbreaking.
I’ve been a long time North fan, really, on a good night, I’ll rave and think about it for a week, and be back again. I’ve been to more locations than I can count, but this location. Is not even remotely up to par in the kitchen.
In the last five visits, two have been tumultuously questionable from kitchen.
Cold meat balls, then waiting 20 minutes for truffle bread, burnt kids grilled cheese (come on kids are already hard to please), raw raw rawwww donuts, wrong short rib come out (this one new server, we said Marsala, he didn’t know his menu well enough it happens), but refire on mistake should have been walked by a manger, or at minimum a touch to table should have happened.
I continued to watch the floor for 25 minutes, attempting to track a manager on the floor, or anywhere and couldn’t even figure out who it was… was it the Burnett man that was constantly floating updating the seating? If so no eye contact, unlikely.
Either way? The dish was bad, but what I’d love to really mention, it wasn’t even fully cooked, the meat yea, but the veggies absolutely raw, oh and unwashed. So raw I had one off the plate for you to try?
Had this been our first experience with this dish 2/10, but we know it’s a 10/10 when executed by build…
So with this I’ll say, eat north italia, enjoy it, but don’t take someone you want to truly impress because you never know what you’re getting from this back of house!

We visited this restaurant and were very pleased! The food was delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. Special thanks to the waitress — she was very friendly, attentive, and helped us choose the dishes. The atmosphere was cozy, and we’ll definitely come back again!

I really wish the host would have let us know it would be more than a 15 minute wait. Came in at 720. Got a table at 807. Waitress took about another 10 minutes to greet us. Never came back to refresh drinks. Food came out at 850. Scallops were over done. At 9:11 waitress came back we had gotten a to go box from another guy. I wanted to love the experience because it’s our anniversary. But the long wait time took away from it for sure. I didn’t complain because I was really hungry by then so we just ate. Waitress stayed positive as my spouse let her know he wasn’t happy. Sadly, that’s the only compliment I have at the moment.

I’ve been to this restaurant twice, and both times were wonderful. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, the food is delicious, and the staff is very polite and friendly. I really enjoyed the whole experience and will definitely come back again. Highly recommend!

Amazing atmosphere, service, and food. We keep going back for a reason, it’s too good. We got the prosciutto pizza, Lasagna, strazzapretti pasta, and for appetizers we got the calamari and the white truffle bread. Such amazing food and the restaurant is in such a beautiful area!

Dined here for Charlotte restaurant week and it was amazing. Our waiter Greg was outstanding. He was very knowledgeable of the menu and had a great personality. I didn’t take pics and sorry I can’t show you the amazing dishes. The truffle butter toasted bread was a nice touch. I started with the crispy eggplant parmesan, entrée was the Sunday night lasagna and ended with the salted caramel budino….The food was perfect and I enjoyed everything. The portion sizes are nice and needed a doggy bag. I’ll definitely be back.
