We had dinner here last night and honestly everything exceeded our expectations. From the moment we sat down, the service was very good—attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable without being overbearing. The drinks were on point as well, perfectly made and a great way to start the night.
For appetizers, we went with two different options: the white truffle garlic bread and the meatballs. Both were excellent. The garlic bread had great flavor without being overpowering, and the meatballs were tender and seasoned perfectly. They come with three, which honestly makes them perfect for a date night… or if you’ve got a third wheel with you
I asked our server what she recommended, and I’m really glad I did. I ordered the squid ink pasta with shrimp and calamari, and it was amazing—fresh seafood, great texture on the pasta, and full of flavor. My wife ordered the chicken parm, and it was so good as well—crispy, cheesy, and cooked just right.
Overall, the food, drinks, and service were all top-notch. You can tell they really care about quality and the guest experience. We had a great night and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend giving this place a try.
Food was off the chain. You have to know I grew up Italian so sauce and pasta are a huge comfort food. I find most Italian restaurants can’t match Mom’s sauce but North Italia may be close which is saying alot.
Meatballs were like my mother’s tender then served with sauce and ricotta cheese -what? Match made in heaven That is a lovey combination of meat and fat from the cheese and the acid from the sauce.
Arricini was so delicate and flavorful. Deep fried out side , melty cheese inside just fun
Then the main course was incredible.
Lasagna was constructed with cheese, sauce, short ribs and sausage. Truly a novel take on a classic.
The strozzapreti was also fantastic, chicken with a spinach, mushroom parm cream/broth. The pasta was hand rolled.
If you have not been here yet, make the time to dine with them.
I will be back
Fifth visit update (June 2025): the honeymoon is over. Food quality has dropped, beef carpaccio is half the size of the pictures I posted. Bartender Shaneka S. provides terrible service. Not likely to return, better service and food elsewhere. Oh well, this place was good for a minute.
Fourth visit update (brunch): Continues to amaze! Everything was incredible. Kale salad was heavenly, breakfast sandwich was insane, so good (and huge, bring a friend).
Second visit update: Wow! Went for dinner on a Friday evening and every single thing was impeccable: service, atmosphere, drinks, food. Loved every second of our dining exoerience. BEEF CARPACCIO was perfection, GRILLED BRANZINO and LUMACHE ALLA NORCINA were delicious. We both cleaned our plates which rarely happens. As for drinks, the SICILIAN MARGHERITA and MARCO POLO made us order seconds. Highly recommended.
First visit: A good fit for Birkdale. Drinks were excellent, menu was interesting. We tried a salad and a pizza and enjoyed it. Some wait staff was inexperienced but pleasant and trying hard to learn.
We didn’t have a reservation on a Sunday night but got seated pretty quickly. Shy, our server, was super friendly and on top of everything. The food was really tasty — we were so hungry we forgot to take pics!
The vibe inside is lively but not too loud. Overall, we had a great time and were glad we went.
They have been open 6 weeks and are doing a spectacular job. Great food, selection, and best facilities around. The place was packed starting at 5:15 to 8:45 when six of us left. Paola, our server was outstanding: friendly, knowledgeable, attentive, and accurate. Note the unique facility: bar facing outwards with drop-down glass walls, on street patio seating. North Italia must have an excellent management staff because their total systems from resrvto ordering, drinks to food delivery, and billing ran smoothly. It is very rare for a facility to open for such a short time. This restaurant is a must for all.
