Local diner that specializes in food that will probably slowly kill you but know that you will die happy. Huge portions of comfort food. Staff is as local as the shop – ambiance is local diner, emphasis on local. Big menu – everything good – tried and proven. A sign says it all – this place came through the great depression, WW2, and COVID. That doesn’t happen unless you are doing it right. They are. Highly recommend.

Unexpected and delightful find in Idaho falls. Traveling through and looking for an easy stop for lunch with our travel trailer in tow. Plenty of curb street parking for longer rigs like ours.
Classic diner vibe. Rodeo upholstery on chair backs and booths. When we walked in it was crowded and staff was trying to catch up with turn over at tables. We had a choice of tables and they cleaned it up for us pretty quick. Also had option to sit at the counter. Staff was super friendly too.
BEST burger we’ve had in a while. Buns and patties are made fresh, fries are hand cut, and onion rings have a light coating. They partner with a local bakery and offer a pre packed bakery box of goodies Saturdays and Sundays so we got one to go.
They also are involved in the community and are helping support the local food bank by helping with a raffle to benefit. Feel lucky to have found this gem of a place.

Night Sky
I have lived next door for almost 6 years and finally made it in for breakfast. On my way out, I found my son on his way in. Good stuff. I had the North Hi-Way combo omelet. The coffee was great, the waitresses were cute. The place was packed. The jokes of the day were a great touch.

I went in for a quick breakfast and was a little disappointed because it was pretty busy and things took longer than expected. We got our drinks and after about an hour or so we got an unfortunate emergency call and had to leave in a hurry. Our food had not yet arrived and I wasn’t quite sure what to do. I approached the front counter and explained the situation offering to at least pay for our sodas. But the wonderful lady just said “nevermind” and told us not to even worry about it.
I thought that was just outstanding. Most places don’t care what our problems are , they just care about money. As we departed we had almost made it to the car when apparently the food finally came out. And they actually ran outside to ask if we wanted them to put it in to go boxes but we really didn’t have time. One of our mini horses had an emergency and we were rushing to the vet. So far so good for him though, and thank you to the manager who made an awkward experience easy. We will be back and again my apologies. Tucker the mule thanks you.

This is a must go to tradition whenever I am in Idaho Falls to visit family. Seriously amazing breakfast! I start thinking about it days before coming to town. I would go a couple of times a week if I lived there. Reasonably priced, good food, large portions, great service.

Over the years’ this place has really changed, it shows and it’s sad. But, in the hour we sat, we got one cup of “endless refills” coffee from our waitress & one cup of “endless refills” soda from our waitress. About the last 20 minutes we were there our waitress disappeared completely. By the time she had come back out to check on tables, our drinks had been empty long enough we were ready to leave.
The portions have gone down over the years of course, fries have changed, charged for everything of course. Give or take that’s kinda the way of the world. The brown gravy used to be one of the best reasons to come, but of course that was like water in a bowl. And The wait staff alone, always is something. You get a rare one in a bunch that is really a outstanding server, but for the most part in the years every visit we’ve had the wait staff is sub par.
Give it a try sure, but do not set the bar high on much. Lastly the hours over the years are rough too, which makes for a very busy building. So prepare to wait.

The food here was amazing!!! Typically my family is loud at meals, but the food was so good, we spent our time eating instead of talking. Our waitress was very accommodating. It is a small space, but very cozy. The decorations are so fun! Thank you for the wonderful meal! I would recommend the club burger anytime!

Standard breakfast fair. We got the big breakfast sandwich, which was really good. We also got chicken fried steak, which was pretty chewy and seemed to be all but completely unseasoned but otherwise decent. Eggs were perfect. The food seems like an average effort all around and reasonably priced. The coffee is bad, in my opinion. The older local crowd seems to really like it here. Our waitress was very nice.
We only tried a small portion of the menu, and we appreciate everyone here. Just giving honest feedback as we travel a LOT and eat at many different locales.

Went here for lunch with some co-workers. It’s a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it little place, although it does look smaller on the outside, it actually has a decent amount of room. Lots of great food choices there was a good number of people there during the middle of the day but it did not feel crowded. Food was exceptional and the service was great! I took a few photos of the place but did not get the main area because I didn’t want to disturb the people eating. I also love the high school reunion story they have there, thought it was pretty funny. Great place, awesome atmosphere!
