Great little Bar & Grill located just off Highway 5 in Lovilla. The place has a great atmosphere, and the people there are very nice, friendly, and make you feel welcome. They have a clean kitchen, and serve a nice variety of different food, anything you would want from appetizers to burgers, tenderloins, broasted chicken, and even Mexican dishes, like tacos, walking tacos and chimchangas. Everything is cooked fresh as you order it, and lots of people just go there for their food……always cooked to perfection and delicious! The drinks are great and everything there is reasonably priced. If you’re ever in the area, you should stop in and give them a try……you won’t be disappointed!

The food is always on point, no matter what we order! Broasted chicken, taco salads, burgers etc! Staff is great about checking in, even when theres only 1 bartender staffed for a full house. We waited about 45 minutes for food during supper, but she was apologetic, no one’s fault, just busy! Rightfully so, as the food is top notch.

This was recommended to me so gathered some girlfriends and drove an hour to get here.
It certainly was worth the drive! Three of us ordered their roasted chicken which came with a potato and Texas toast.
For a little more we all got a dinner salad. Another got their tenderloin and onion rings and it didn’t disappoint. The waitress was great. It was busy and I think she was the only one there to wait on tables. She never stopped and kept a smile the whole time. Nice little spot on the road!!

It’s like cheers with an old-school rural Iowa facelift. Jo Ann is the owner operator and and everybody knows your name….if not when you walk in they will before you leave this people friendly establishment. And it may serve bar food….But it’s top notch delicious bar food. Throw in an occasional meat loaf or beef and noodles special and its tough to beat. Don’t forget taco Tuesday. I bet one taco weighs a pound. It’s great.
