Adorable candy shop. The ladies were nice and accommodating even though they were in the middle of restocking.
The whisky and banana cream chocolates were my favorites but all of them were pretty solid. The chocolate was tempered well and retained its snap even after sitting in a warm car.

It is a tiny and cozy chocolate house with a variety of chocolates. The owner was very kind and explained to us well enough to understand how to choose chocolates. I had difficulty deciding what to have, as they were all yummy! If you are passing by this small old village, it is a must-stop to check.

Passing through this quaint town on our road trip to DC and noticed the lovely decorations of the chocolate place. Of course we love chocolate and got a variety to try. Our favorite is the orange peel and the second favorite is the coconut clusters. The mint chocolate was too sweet. The lady at the shop is also very sweet!

Super cute candy store and the lady that worked in there was super friendly. They had every type of candy. You can imagine and definitely a lot of chocolates. They had a lot of of the old-school candy that you would see back in the day which I thought was super cute.

I tend to check out candy stores in any town I visit. I always order dark chocolate covered marshmallows and dark chocolate covered raspberry jelly among other things. This stores dark chocolate with some of the worst I have tasted. And their marshmallow had no fluff to it at all. Now they did do some things well. Raspberry jelly had some of the strongest and best raspberry taste I’ve come across. But overall, the store was a great disappointment. It did have a good collection of older candies. If you’re in for a bit of nostalgia, this is a good place.

The cutest little chocolate shop and they taste as good as they look! The lady who helped us was so nice. We got a pound of truffles and a Reese chocolate covered pretzel. Cool selection of old fashioned candy too!

We visit quite often and have never had a bad experience. Quite the tiny shop but full of great flavors and customer service. Our favorites are the sea salt caramels.

I absolutely adore this little store! It is by all accounts absolutely amazing! The chocolate is very high quality, delicious, and the staff is always very friendly. They have a lot of novelty candy as well such as Harry Potter Candy, Pez, and a great variety of impossible to find vintage candy brands that many of us remember from our childhoods.
When I have friends or family visit I always make a point to take them to North East Chocolates and they never disappoint! They have chocolate for every mood, taste, and even sugar free.
The ONLY complaint I have is that it is not wheelchair accessible in any way. So unfortunately if we decide to go as a family, one on the kids in our family who uses a wheelchair isn’t able to go.
Update: The owner informed us that because of the historic design of the building, making the building wheelchair accessible is not possible. However, to compensate for that they are very kind and helpful and will provide curbside assistance to those who need.
