This is seriously the best Chinese food that I have had in a very long time. I have tried out multiple places around gladstone and a few other places close to it, but for the quality of food and the value for what you get, you need to try this place out! Portions are huge!!! I got 3 crab Rangoon, soup, a full large to go box of general tso chicken and a box of fried rice for less than $17.00. This place is freaking amazing!!! The pictures are from what I have leftover! Yes, I ate and this is what I still have!

I have eaten here since I have been a kid. The service and food have gone so downhill, it’s very sad. I ordered sweet and sour chicken no vegetables and they gave me empress chicken instead(the chicken is sautéed in the sauce and extra sugar is added, changing the sauce completely). I called to let her know and she kept saying she told me the sauce would come on it, which she never did. By the time I got home, the chicken was soggy and the sauce didn’t taste good. I told her she never mentioned the sauce on it and she kept insisting. I told her this isn’t sweet and sour chicken and I think she just wanted to say it was because they messed it up and she didn’t want to fix it. The fried rice was SO bland, and it used to be my favorite item to order. I had a couple bites of both and just threw it away. It wasn’t wasn’t salvageable. So disappointing. I won’t eat here again. The ONLY thing that tasted decent was the egg drop and the wonton soup. And the wonton was cold but at least there was some flavor to it. Don’t waste your money for someone who will argue that an entree is what your ordered when it CLEARLY is not.

The pros: the food was beautifully presented (as pictured- the “Neptune’s catch of the day on top of bird’s nest”). Our server was very sweet and provided great service. My partners dish was delicious, he had the orange chicken.
The cons: My dish was delicious besides the scallops obviously being frozen as they smelled and tasted so. I also regret to say that I found a piece of plastic in my food towards the end of the meal (I stopped eating when I found it needless to say). The glasses were also slightly dirty and had a bit of a filmy feeling to them.
Probably wouldn’t dine here again unless some serious changes were made, and I feel more inclined to order the orange chicken for take out.

I loved this place. I was there a couple months ago and the restaurant is so beautiful and so is the food. I was mesmerized by the art on the wall. We came in and were seated immediately. The menu is overwhelming as there are so many dishes to choose from. The staff was nice. They were very patient with my mom as she is hard of hearing. They forgot our drinks, but that is partly our fault because we didn’t even realize it until we were done.
The food was great, there was almost too much flavor, but it was very good. The proportions were humongous so you’ll probably be taking a to-go box. I definitely want to return here and explore their menu.

This restaurant was so phenomenal. I can’t even explain the imprint that it has left on my taste buds. The wishing fountain is so fun for young children to make wishes in. Cathy is such a good employee and I couldn’t be more grateful for the phenomenal service that she has provided for my family and me. This restaurant has such great service and the food is out of this world, I can’t even get to explain how good it is. They even have carry-out, which on the tough days is so helpful. The bathrooms are so clean and organized. This place hasn’t been getting a lot of attention lately, and all I have to say to this is why? The whole Kansas City area, or even the whole world is missing out in this. I couldn’t be more grateful for what this restaurant has done for me. So please if you don’t have any dinner plans, please give this place a try, I promise you won’t regret it!
