I have been waiting for a café to open in this library for over 10 years. Thankfully, Angelica came along and did it.
The food is to die for. Refreshing sandwiches and hearty options when you’re needing soup for cold days! You can tell the owners have searched for the perfect ingredients — gluten-free options, high-quality ingredients, and everything in between. That level of care shows in every bite.
This place feels warm and welcoming. You don’t just walk out satisfied, you leave feeling like family.
I am excited to finally have a café like this here in North Ogden and try it to go!

This place is so cute. It’s everything we needed in this location. Excellent food, yummy little treats, a wide variety of drinks from coffee and tea to Italian sodas. So happy this is here and so excited to go back!

I found a new place to eat when I am at this end of town. I have Celiac so the options around town are limited as the food has to be gluten free. There are many GF options to choose from here. I had the Matilda’s comfort which is a grilled cheese and a cup of tomato soup. It was delicious. I heard the owner, Angelica tell someone else that was ordering that she makes the soup herself and many of the sweet treats they offer.I also had the Emerald City Smoothie that was quite refreshing. They also have GF cookies and a couple of other Gluten Free goodies. They have a family member that has Celiac so they are very well versed and take every precaution to not cross contaminate. They told me that they use an entirely separate grill for the GF so make sure you tell them if you have Celiac or any other allergies and they will take the ingredients to build your sandwich out of a different package that they would normally use for the wheat based bread sandwiches. They have Vegan options as well and/or combined with the GF.
They are very personable and welcoming and tell you they hope you will come again. Yes! I will definitely eat there whenever I get the chance.
It is a small place. I hope they eventually add a couple more smaller tables to accommodate just 1 – 2 people as I think they are going to need it when the word gets out.

Excellent little library cafe. Had the Tom Sawyer Adventure Turkey which was a delicious sweet turkey sandwich with a little spicy kick. Also had freshly made tortilla quesadillas. Great for a unique lunch experience. Selection of cookies and donuts with coffee for dessert.
