Absolutely love this place. Usually just order spicy chicken fried rice and my husband gets the orange chicken but we are never disappointed with their food. It can be a bit messy if you order carry out with saucy entrees but does not change the taste or quality of the food.

I have been a patron of this restaurant for the past 14 years. I’ve seen a decline in the quality of the food, little by little over the past year or so. After today’s lunch visit, I shall NOT eat here ever again.
The wonton soup tasted like tepid dishwater, actually, dishwater with a bit of detergent would have had MORE flavor.
The general’s chicken was abysmal as well. The chicken pieces were bite size for a huge animal, but for human consumption you had to cut them down three times. However, don’t be mislead by the past sentence. There was not a large quantity of chicken, rather the opposite. It’s just that the quantity given was in non-bite sized pieces. When the first piece of that sauce coated chicken touched my tongue, I had the initial thought, warning…. somethings off. It only got worse once I actually started chewing. The meat was extremely fatty. When’s the last time you came across fatty chicken? In 48 years, this is my first time!
On a pleasant note, the order of egg rolls and the hot tea was delicious. The crab ragoon had a nice flavor with the combination of cream cheese and garlic salt but it was sans any crab.
When I had to ask for my bill, the manager asked if I wanted a to go container. I thanked him politely and said no that you. The meal was horrible and I wouldn’t want to eat it at any point. To which he responded, ok. When I went up to pay, I reiterated to the young man at the cash register that after coming there for 14 years, that was a horrible meal. He said, “Okay, I tell him”. To which I responded, “And I shall not be back”, he then smiled and said, “Okay, I will tell him that too”.
What a shame. It used to be a delight in the Northland.
