North Berkeley Imports set the bar for selection and service. They offer a list of incredibly high quality, French and Italian grower-producer wines, which I think is among the best in the business. Their selection of small producer burgundy I find to be extraordinary.
This will be no surprise to those of you who do business with them, but their staff of account managers and sales people are just wonderful to work with. Brain, who manages my account, is always so gracious and helpful, he’s introduced me to countless wines I would never have discovered without his help.
They ship out of state. I regularly buy from NJ and have never had a serious issue. The wine arrives well packaged every time. Shipping is typically free @ 6+ bottles.
