Enjoyed a wonderful breakfast in a cozy spot. Love the breakfast potatoes, and the eggs and bacon were cooked perfectly. Visited here today after not being here for a few years and was really pleased with everything

This friendly hangout has a nice menu with delicious breakfast options. Although the parking can get a little tight during the busy hours, a spot shouldn’t be too hard to find.

Was in town for work. Could not eat another hotel breakfast. Googled found this spot. Great coffee and breakfast. Good enough I returned for the rest of the time I was here.

Cute little place. Waited for a long time to be served, then had the orders wrong. Very large menu overflowing with different items. Had unusual menu items such as hogmaw. Tempted to get “sloppy potpie” but didn’t trust that choice, since it probably isn’t like what I grew up with. They had a weird way of preparing food and the preparation was just okay.
The fries were fresh and hand cut – that was the extent of our good meal. The pizza burger, dry beef gravy, beef gravy, and bagel tasted pre-made days ago without seasoning or taste. My homefries and eggs came out in a bowl, combined.
Wouldn’t be in a hurry to eat there again.

First time here and I think I found my future retirement breakfast hangout. Good amount of seating for a small hometown diner. Great atmosphere with groups of friends that obviously meet there often. Delicious and affordable food that spans breakfast and lunch. I had the sausage, egg and cheese biscuits with sausage gravy with a side of potatoes. Delicious. Came out piping hot. Needed a little salt but that’s a good thing. Looking to cut back on sodium this dish will help. Also ordered hot tea. $8 for my meal and $1.65 for tea. Didn’t feel rushed at all after we ate and was offered more tea and coffee while we sat and talked. Make sure you give this place a try but don’t make it a one time thing. Go back again and again.

Have enjoyed this place in the past, but after my experience today – I will not be back. Way better diners within a few miles. Service was extremely slow, tensions were high amongst staff. Food was sub par, light on the meat in the wrap. Didn’t have limes and gave lemons instead for the tacos without inquiring with us. Empty waters for ten minutes. $30 at a diner for that quality seemed off. Much better deals and food for that price in town.

This little diner has been through several owners over the years. The last ownership the food was good but under the current ownership the food has been really good. I’ve tried nearly everything & haven’t been disappointed. Even have small Mexican menu Friday-Sunday which has been very good. From the owners to the wait staff who are ready to serve you in this small gem in McSherrystown, try them you won’t be disappointed!
The picture below is a Sope from the Mexican menu.

Not the first time we’ve been here, but it will be the last. Food wasn’t great. Some food we had to send back. Prices didn’t match up menu to receipt. Waitress had an awful attitude. What a shame.
