Friday night fish fry at Norm’s is wonderful! Love the fried potatoes & onions too! They have an appetizer of a Baked Pretzel, that sucker is huge! Have friends to help eat, or don’t expect to eat anything else if you eat this on your own! Comes with a beer cheese sauce that is really good.
This is one of those home-town bars – you know, where everyone turns to look and see who is walking in the door?
Bar seating is limited, and there are just a few high-top tables, but there is group seating off to the side of the bar, which is good for groups of six or more.
They only offer bottle/can beer – nothing on tap if I remember correctly! (I’m not a beer drinker, so I don’t always pay attention to that!)
My only complaint is that the hours are not “always the same”
Open till close can mean 8pm, 10pm midnight…! I get it, when business is slow why stay open? We wanted to eat one Friday night arrived at 7-ish, got our meal, which was great but as soon as we were walking out, the Open signs were turned off, and lights went out! There was no rushing us, but it felt odd that they would close so early on a Friday Night in Wisconsin!
Since Norm’s is close to home, we do enjoy stopping for Fish Fry & drinks.

I heard the food was good. It was my first time ordering food there and I thought the fish fry was the best fish fry. I’ve had in a very long time. I thought it was excellent. I will definitely be ordering food from there again.

We had a very good fish fry- hot, very tasty and filling for a good price. Staff was friendly even (for the most part) for being busy and short handed. The bartenders seem to like the regulars a lot more than those of us who only visit a few times a year.

Stopped here during the draft- bartender very unfriendly- fish smelled amazing. Not a very welcoming place and $4 for a rolling rock beer! Won’t be returning

My wife and I like to look for local gems whenever we travel and this place looked good. Boy was it! The food was incredible! I got the brew burger, smothered fries, and a huge pretzel with beer cheese dip. I washed it down with a Kentucky Vanilla barrel Ale and it was perfect. My wife got a pulled pork sandwich with fries and washed it down with a mango White claw. Both of us were very pleased. The atmosphere is just your average home town tavern and was just the kind of thing we look for. Everything was very clean as well. If we make it this way again we’d be delighted to stop in again.
