Hot dang the brisket is legit. Got to try a few sides and everything is delicious. Don’t let the small shack fool you, this place is worth checking out. It’s pick up only for now, so I’d call ahead.

Yall this place is what Harvest needed!! So excited to have an option that isn’t fast food. Every single thing I tried was amazing. We ordered smoked chicken, sweet potatoes, cabbage, and the BEST mac and cheese i think I’ve ever had. The owner is working on adding ribs to the menu and he gave us each a sample rib. Hands down the best rib I’ve ever had from a restaurant. Go try this place, you wont be disappointed.

Well….what I went yesterday (3/1/26)….the food I had wasn’t good. I had the smoked chicken which was dry and the skin was hard. It’s been better from him. Maybe he was having a bad day. I will get the chicken again but them sides…HELL NAW!!! The greens were bitter with absolutely NO SEASONING. The cabbage was the same way. They tasted like water. Why was the Mac and cheese soupy. Why was the cheese running!!? I might go back for some fried fish but I don’t want no sides….

I was really looking forward to the food and was very disappointing.
1. Food was room temperature
2. Mac & cheese was Krafts garlic and herbs white cheddar (I’ve accidentally bought it once )
3. Collards has a lot of seasoning but no flavor. Giving a seafood boil type seasoning
4. Brisket was tender but no even flavor through out the meat. Some of it was salty, some was bland and some was okay.
5. Smoked chicken is so dry, there was hardly any meat.
Customer service was great!!! Hopefully with all the feedback things can change. I will give another chance a little later on.

We just called in a order and the food was room temperature at most. The fish wasn’t fully cooked and soaked in grease. The grease needed to be changed. All the sides were cold and not seasoned well at ALL! I ordered 2 cornbreads and only received one.
The smoked brisket was dried out and again not seasoned. We paid $61.55 for food we threw away. The banana pudding was super runny…I really expected better and was excited that we had a soul food restaurant in Harvest. If you want better soul food go to HSV. It’ll be worth the drive. ♀️. I really hope you all do better and/or get better equipment.
