We are a Caribbean restaurant also offering specialty cocktails. We will be closed Easter. Hours of operation are: Tues, Wed, Thurs, Fri & Sat we are open From 4:30 pm until 9:00 pm. Carry out orders end at 8 pm and In dining orders end at 8:30 pm. Seating for in dining is limited to 1 hour & 20 minutes.

A few of us came about 30 mins before closing time and the owner was really kind to let us eat even though the kitchen was about to close. We had their tacos made with oxtail and jerk chicken. And they were absolutely amazing. It was a different kind of bread and all the sauce on it made it really tasty. We also had their jerk chicken curry and when you have it with their own pepper sauce, it makes it tastier. Overall, really great customer service and experience. Would definitely stop by again.

My favorite Caribbean restaurant! I love the sorrell martini. It’s so delicious and unique. The doubles were good to try. The jerk wings and rum ice cream are always my favorite. The chicken curry is great. The chicken Pelau was pretty good. It had a great flavor. I enjoy the appetizers more than the entrees.

I finally got to enjoy my favorite Doubles, again @normagscuisine The food was amazing, made with love and flavorful. Great atmosphere and the owner Lester was really kind and made sure everyone was okay. Please stop by and try them. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed. Their house made hot sauce ( which you can buy bottles of)was just the right amount of heat and full of flavor.

I ate with a friend for lunch. Picked up the chicken and waffles. The waffles were great light and fluffy the kind you would always want. Chicken was alright. While I did enjoy it. There wasn’t anything special with it.

This place is a true gem for anyone craving Trini or Caribbean food. I highly recommend getting Doubles as an appetizer and you can’t go wrong with any of the entrees. I really enjoyed the plantain sides too!

The food here is always amazing and everyone who works here is so nice it’s unreal. I love the jerk chicken and the beef patties. Today when I grabbed my food they accidentally gave me a wrong order and the kitchen staff guy ran out in the rain to my car on the road to wave me down and get me the right food! It was really awesome of him to do that and I really appreciate it. For sure one of my favorite restaurants in Detroit, can’t recommend it enough!

It’s a small place, but great atmosphere and great food. The staff were polite and very helpful. I had a great time. I ordered the Caribbean jerk chicken. It came with red beans and rice and cabbage. Let me tell you, that cabbage tasted better than I imaged. I almost ordered a side of it. My entire meal was good. The mac and cheese is delish also. I don’t think there were no complaints at my table.

The owner was so friendly and had amazing hospitality. The staff was awesome! The food reminded me of this small check I stumbled on in Jamaica and Trinidad last year. You can tell it’s the type of establishment that values its customers. I genuinely hope that they receive an award in the next coming years!
