I probably haven’t experienced the sweetness. The kindness of the owners and staff! You can tell it by the way the food is packaged and presented. Not slopped on a plate. I ordered the beet salad but then I saw my husband’s burger and I said I’m going to order one to go!!!!! He had the Carolina burger I ordered the grilled onion burger simply as it is. So good. The fries are so perfect. Hubs got their onion rings and baked beans. All very tasty. Eating the chocolate chip cookie now.

I almost never give 5-stars to counter service restaurants, but as soon as we walked in, we were welcomed and brought both a breakfast and lunch menu by a very pleasant young man. After deciding on our order, the lady taking orders was also very pleasant and helpful.
Our food was ready in about 10 minutes and was delicious. My Rueben was fabulous but the skinny freshly baked and cut fries were the best.
It’s weird this is in a car dealership but once you are sitting down it’s just like any small restaurant.

If I could give Nor’East Family Treats & Eats more than 5 stars, I absolutely would! From the moment you walk in, you feel like family. The staff is warm, attentive, and genuinely happy to see you—something that’s rare to find these days.
The food is phenomenal across the board. Their breakfast baskets are hearty and made with love.
What I love most is that everything feels homemade and thoughtful, from the portion sizes to the presentation. It’s comfort food at its best.
Whether you’re stopping in for breakfast, lunch, or just treating yourself to dessert, Nor’East is the kind of place that instantly becomes a favorite. I’m so glad Charlotte has this gem—highly recommend to anyone looking for amazing food and even better people!

What an amazing hidden gem inside a car dealership! One of my friends works at the dealership so I met her here for lunch, was my first time there and best believe won’t be my last! Service was exceptional, some of the friendliest staff I’ve ever met! The cashier was very patient with me while I made my choices because I literally wanted to try everything haha. I had a lot of questions and he was so nice answering what he could and if he didn’t know the answer, he got the owner and he would answer for me. I settled in on the Vermont maple burger. Fresh egg, melty cheese, perfectly cooked bacon and some of the best seasoned patties I’ve ever had. The burger was so good I wanted to cry in happiness lol. The onion rings were amazing too. When the cashier brought out my plate, one of the onion rings slipped on the floor, before he cleaned it up, he was so nice to go back to the kitchen to get me a fresh one to replace it. Then came back and promptly got the fallen ring off the floor. I mean seriously top notch customer service! With this place being less than 10min from home, I am abt to be a regular! Oh and I got the strawberry pie to go, tasted just like how mama used to make it, I don’t think you can go wrong with anything here!

As a girl from Maine, why have I not known about this place until now. Oh the Maine Italian was as close to home as you can get to the real thing! The Vermont burger was fabulous. The slider size was so filling and plenty. The Burlington was so good. Thick and juicy fried chicken with the pickles and onions to finish the flavors perfectly! We will be back. Gotta try more things!

It was very good, we got the bourbon glaze burger, the jalapeno burger, and super fries. It was all amazing I was quick and the staff was super friendly and it wasn’t that busy even at around 1:30 on a Thursday.

Awesome food and awesome service. This is a rare combination of quality, affordability, and passion that is hard to find in a restaurant. Since we went this past weekend, I’ve been telling everyone I can about this place. I had the Bourbon Glaze Burger as part of Burger Week and my wife had a Vegan Patty on the Burger Week Jalapeno Popper burger. My daughter loved her PB&J sandwich. All amazing. In addition to the burgers we had fries (very good) and the peanut butter pie (phenomenal then and a couple days later from the fridge as well). We will be back!

I usually only write reviews when I run into one of those unique American dinners, the little family flats that are so hard to find these days because they’re crammed in between over marketed and overpriced fast food. This is a place of the American standard, a family operated business and all the kindness and warmth that goes with that and the care, quality and taste that comes with the food made their. Most people in the area probably would never notice it or know about it unless you were looking for food on the map and it showed you this place. If it does, definitely go.

They make the best Burgers in Charlotte! I usually order the Vermont Maple Farm burger, It never disappoints. But, I decided to branch out today and tried the pimento cheese burger and I was not let down, it was delicious! They have a fun variety of sodas too. I haven’t tried the ice cream yet, but it looks pretty delicious. The atmosphere is nice, it’s sunny and inviting. The owners are very friendly and work hard to make sure you enjoy your meal.

*Update* 11/16/24 – If you’re in Charlotte and looking for the top local dining experience with the BEST tasting burgers and the friendliest service, you have got to make Nor’East your regular spot. There is a side door to enter wirh dedicated parking spots for dining customers. When you walk through the side door you turn to the right, and there is Nor’East! They currently have delicious Hot or Cold housemade apple cider with cinnamon sticks. There is such variety on the menu to try from, but I always go back to the classic Maple Vermont Farm Burger. They also have a Rewards program if you plan to be a repeat customer, which is awesome!
*Update* 10/07/23 – Finally, I had the chance to visit the new physical location for Nor’East located in Town & Country Ford Dealership. There is plenty of parking and a few tables inside the cozy restaurant. You can always count on quality food and generous portions! I tried the Spicy Chicken Sandwich “The Cambridge” (pictured), and it was incredible! Loaded with sautéed peppers, onions, and cheese! Definitely worth giving them a visit if you live in Charlotte!
