I came here from a recommendation of LA Fitness whom said that their scales needed to be recalibrated. Was greeted by Ace and a pungent smell of I don’t know what but that’s the reason for three stars. Ace was a wealth of knowledge but that smell. Geesh! I had to take my shoes off and wipe the bottom of my feet and step on this state of the art scanner for the machine to do it’s work. It told me everything from my weight to the circumference of my arms to the hints of inflammation in my body. The first scan was free but after he said they’d be $5 every other scan. He was trained well and presented as such. I learned what the word impedance means and it can and has been used as a type of warfare against me as I face life being a targeted individual. That’s the reason I wanted to weigh myself in the first place because I lack the stability to be able to do so like a normal, regular person. Thanks for the knowledge it helps me to know my physical composition during these times of immense stress and opposition.

That’s the first time for me trying this shop. I have been looking for a healthy retreat and glad I found it. I trued the Oreo donut and the butta bowl (the chocolate and peanut butter) i am absolutely in live with the taste. It’s not really sweet specially for someone like me who cut off sugar for ling time. Tbh completely honest the donut’s structure isn’t really taste like donut that actually has been fried in oil it’s more like a sponge texture. I loved it tho! Overall!! Highly recommended

Great stop right after the gym ! Took a chance because of the reviews and I wasn’t disappointed, lovely welcoming and great service, just moved to the area so I’ll definitely make it my new stop every so often.

12/10 Recommend! I had the protein bowl and it was to die for! I will not go back to California without stopping here again and again and probably every time I pass through. I’d eat the protein bowl for a treat over ice cream any day, which is amazing because it doesn’t come with the guilt. I was on my way home to Las Vegas and tried this spot. The food was amazing and so was the service. I believe it was the owner that helped me out. He was so helpful and kind. He gave me a donut to try. I saved mine for the next morning to go with my coffee. It was delicious! I wish I lived closer so I could eat here more often 🙁

Let me say that the woman who works inside is very nice and I’ve never really had issues before. But I would go in a couple times a month to get the Chunky Monkey smoothie because I work nearby. I even told my coworker to go. The smoothies never tasted consistent over each time I got them but I just figured if they’re handmade they’re not going to be exactly the same every time. But last time I was in there, I got a Chunky Monkey smoothie on my lunch and when I took a sip I immediately choked on a big wad of plastic. I thought maybe it was just unblended banana, but after taking another sip I got more shredded wads of what looked like some type of wax paper or something coming out of the straw. It’s like it was blended up in my smoothie with the other ingredients. I didn’t have time to go back because I had to go back to work, but I wound up having to call out the next day because I had stomach cramps until I was able to throw up the plastic.
I hate to leave a negative review on a local business, but with this experience and a weird experience my coworker has had as well, I won’t be returning. If they’re read this, please be more careful with your smoothie prep. ):

I was looking for juices, and plant based food items, turns out it mainly consists of items made with protein. I bought the waffles and skittles tea since I was hungry, I don’t normally take protein drinks/powders either for other reasons. I asked about açaí bowls and was told their protein bowls are healthier than acai. I was looking for the antioxidant benefits but ok. LOL. As I was waiting for my order i started looking around the place, I noticed they are promoting Herbalife items and pamphlets which is also a multi level marketing scheme. At that point It made sense why their items consisted mainly of protein and teas and no natural items. It’s very deceiving and that was disappointing. Regardless if the drinks or food are delicious or not, if it truly was a nutrition shop, their items wouldn’t be limited to items with just protein in them.
