We weren’t too impressed with the menu and therefore pleasantly surprised when the food came out. Everything was super fresh (even the tostada shell had been freshly fried) and really flavorful. The refried beans were some of the best I’ve ever had and the chicken rice soup came with a plate of fresh fixings.

Nothing stood out foodwise… oh liked the salsa 🙂
Sports bar loud (football)
I think the main attraction is the bar.

If your looking for authentic Mexican Cuisine, this is the place to go! The food will knock your socks off and so will the service. I’ve been going for a few years and am always happy to wait in border line ups to get me some deliciousness.

Great Mexican food in Frendale.
Service was fast and friendly and the was very good.
We had two orders of street Tacos, enchiladas with shredded beef and chicken mole.
Everyone left satisfied and full.

The service was fantastic. The food was tasty. The atmosphere needs an update and a serious cleaning. I don’t want to be negative, but only post constructive criticism. I think they could have a winner if they fixed the decor. Bartender was a gem!

The food had already been shoddy on a prior visit but decided to stop in for drinks on a whim. Big mistake. We all ordered margaritas of various flavors on the rocks. However, three blended drinks arrived, one an entirely different flavor than ordered. I (kindly) informed the bartender I had ordered a different flavor to which his seemingly perturbed reply was something along the lines of “I thought you said blended lime.” Nothing more was said before he left the table with drink in hand. He did correct this but due to the cold reception we received after that exchange my friends were too afraid to ask for what they had actually ordered. His demeanor did not improve from that point. I noted that he acknowledged and thanked another table as they left; when we left…just crickets. I tip well (at least 30 percent) for good service; he was lucky to have gotten the 15 I believe my friends left for him. Mediocre food is one thing; horrible service is unacceptable and I won’t be going back.

Four of us ordered take out a few days ago. One of the orders was incorrect. The burrito was hard to distinguish from the enchilada. Both were sticky, gooey and tasteless. The beans seemed to be canned pinto beans. No distinct flavors. It was the worst Mexican food my husband and I have ever eaten except for one other experience (different restaurant) where the food made us sick. We didn’t get sick and we got full from our meals at Nopal, but that’s the only positive I can think of. We won’t be going back.

We ate here recently, long wait , chips dry/ no salsa, Margaritas weak, and watery like previously mixed. I usually as a waitress of 30 years tip well, yet forbade my husband tipping excessively. Will NEVER return. I could have cooked a meal 10×s more delicious for 20×s less money. .
