Noodles & Rice Bistro is truly something special. The food is consistently incredible, and the service is always friendly and impressively quick.

My usual order is the Crab Rangoon and Tofu Pad Thai, and both are off the charts. The Crab Rangoon is perfectly crispy with a rich, flavorful filling, and the Pad Thai has that ideal balance of savory and slightly sweet, with crispy tofu that’s cooked just right.

Honestly, this place would 100% make my “last meals” list. I’ve moved away and miss it so much, but I always make it a mission to stop here anytime I’m back in the area. That alone says everything. The quality never slips, and it’s one of those spots you keep thinking about long after the meal is over.

The food was amazing, I was very surprised by the quality of the meal. The dish was not heavily salted like a lot of restaurants and still had a distinct pleasant flavor, and the soup was probably one of the best I’ve ever had. I loved the dumplings. I’m surprised it isn’t more popular, as the staff were courteous and the interior was clean. The vibe was similar to an upscale coffee shop. I received my dish in a timely manner, and the portion size was just right.

While I was in New London for a year this place was a constant go to for me. I always ordered it once a month at least and are before I left. And would recommend this to anyone, it’s the best restaurant in the area by far in my opinion and the staff is super professional and kind. I’ll miss eating here, be sure to try the Drunken Noodles they are phenomenal.

If you’re craving a taste of Thailand, look no further than this hidden gem! From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted with the enticing aroma of authentic Thai spices, transporting you to the bustling streets of Bangkok.

The menu boasts a tantalizing array of traditional dishes, each bursting with flavor and made with the freshest ingredients. Whether you’re a fan of fiery curries, fragrant stir-fries, or aromatic soups, there’s something to delight every palate.

I had the pleasure of trying several dishes during my visit, and each one was a culinary masterpiece. The Pad Thai was a perfect balance of sweet, sour, and savory, while the Green Curry had just the right amount of heat to leave a lingering warmth.

The ambiance of the restaurant is cozy and inviting, with attentive staff who are eager to ensure a memorable dining experience. The attention to detail in both the presentation of the dishes and the decor truly sets this place apart.

Overall, I can’t recommend this restaurant enough. Whether you’re a Thai food enthusiast or simply looking to explore new flavors, this establishment is sure to impress. Five stars all the way!

Their food is always amazing, my favorite is the chicken thighs stew. So many flavors in it, the chicken falls off the bone and it is always so tasty that I keep ordering it and haven’t tried a lot of their other dishes as a result, lol. We also got chicken lemongrass dumplings that were filled with flavor and were tender. And thai hot wings which were just as amazing. I love this place so much!

I’ll keep it short. Not impressed.
1. Food was okay, but not great.
2. $29 mixed grill was a scoop of rice, small salad, 2 shrimp, 2 scallops, and 2 or 3 bites of salmon. Insane rip off.
3. Small, boomy, echo-chamber eating area. A single loud talker made the place unbearable.
4. Mystic prices, but missing Mystic ambiance (and low crime rate).

Not a lot of Thai food options in the area, but won’t be going back.

Sooo good! I got the chicken dumpling soup and it was amazing. The broth tastes like pad Thai, but it’s a broth. Highly recommend!

New favorite Thai place! The chicken pad thai is the best I’ve ever had, and the quality is not compromised when you opt for takeout. Great taste and portion sizes. The restaurant is aesthetic, and the staff are very accommodating. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a great place to eat in downtown New London ☺️.

While in New London, we stopped at Noodles and Rice Bistro, and I’m so glad that we did because it quickly entered the ranks of one of my favorite Thai restaurants I’ve visited in the state! It was clean and bright with friendly staff, and the food was phenomenal. I’m going to dream of their beef stew and shrimp in the pot dish!
